Josh saying he should have done better. They didn't play to their standards and it starts with him. Dude shut up. You're a dog man. This team played like you Bills would have won. I get it take the blame. Good on you. Not your fault.

Yep He's an absolute beast. He's the best player in the nfl. It's not 2021 anymore, he's better than Mahomes and has Been the last 2 years .

If he had coaching and even an average defence, he has multiple rings

Well we just witnessed NFL history.

First game where both teams had 40+ points and 0 TOs in NFL history.

Even when they lose Bills make some sort of NFL history.

Blocked punt is pretty much a turnover.

I'm shallow enough to want Josh to be recognized as the best player in the league. I want a championship more, but Josh winning MVP would still be great.

Sorry, I'm so shallow.

You're not the only one, I just don't get it. If he wins it, fine, if not, fine. It doesn't move the needle for me and I just don't think it matters at all.

If he wins the MVP and they don't win the Super Bowl what difference does it make? Won't it just piss you off more that they wasted an MVP caliber season?

Thurman Thomas won the MVP in 1991, then lost his helmet in the Super Bowl. Fantastic.

I am nearly positive that the Bills with Mcdermott & Allen have lost every "game of the year" type of game they've played in... lol

And the messed up part is in at least a couple of those games it is pretty much Allen's best game of the year too

If "game of the year" is meant to describe some kind of incredible game, by virtue of either super high scoring OR of one team mounting an amazing comeback, guess what - those are the most likely kind of games to lose.  I'm a lot less worried about what everyone is going ballistic about in the couple of coaching calls no one likes than I am about how our defense got destroyed.

Detroit is licking their chops another scorefest next week

The Bills will play better vs Detroit on Defense... And I think they'll play just as good on Offense.

This game was a wake up call for the Defense.  And tbh I think it was needed. They had been getting away with giving up yards and tightening up in the red zone too long. Don't get me wrong, they are still outmanned on the D-Line... But they are clearly going to have to shake it up on 3rd down a bit because that was so bad today it can't get much worse.

I've been watching the Bills since about 1995. We have not one a single championship in that time.

So I'll take any Bills-related highs I can get.

Ok, looking for silver linings. It was refreshing to see they were capable of opening up the offense when they got down. I wish they had that type of urgency throughout the game. Something to remember the rest of the way and the playoffs.

Pretty sure a game only qualifies as "game of the year" when there is a ton of scoring.

Which is why these "game of the year" typically involves Allen with some herculian effort to keep the Bills in the game while the defense has one of its annual meltdowns under Sean McDermott.
