BillsFan130 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 (edited) This was exactly my point when people were criticizing McDaniel for letting Tua come back in in that 2022 game against the Bills Every coach in the NFL is going to put their QB back in if he "clears" protocol. It's that simple Edited October 6, 2024 by BillsFan130 3 Quote
Dillenger4 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Sheesh - I thought he had a concussion for the whole game. He couldn't hit a transport truck with is throws all day in the first half. Brutal! Quote

The Bills and NFL must protect their players. Plus he’s our Josh, no way the city of Buffalo wants to use him and spit him out. Jerome007 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Hey, I sure thought he hit his head and had a concussion. But he not only cleared the protocol, he looked normal afterwards, playing or interviews. Quote

But in seriousness, he came to quickly after he got up and seemed fine. Was walking and running on the sideline pretty well. Tua is still wobbling from his concussion weeks ago. That’s the difference imo. Quote

Alphadawg7 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 He could be heard saying it was his chest, not head. Just cuz you hit your head doesn’t mean you get a concussion. 1 1 2 Quote
Walking Tall Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 (edited) Some people are really upset that a legitimate question is being asked. I don’t understand why. My bet is he did get his bell rung. Allen doesn’t stay down like that because of his chest. Edited October 6, 2024 by Beast 2 1 Quote

Expand That was a back injury. Josh did what most players instinctively know to do….stay down until you are more stable. It happens all the time if you are looking in nfl games. My beef is with the internet concussion experts who think they know what is good for everyone not on the bills but they don’t say jack when it is Josh Allen. 1 2 Quote

Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Immediately when Allen was first on the ground, he was pointing to his chest. Yes he hit his head, but players hit their heads almost every play so saying he had a concussion is a leap here. 1 Quote
