i really loved diggs here, and feel he was a massive help in the development of this team.  the relationship ran its course, (like many do) and now it's over.  concerning being portrayed unfairly by the media...eh.  digg's actions are football news, so of course you're going to hear about it in the media.  guess what?  if diggs didn't give them any drama to work with, there would be no reporting.  to think this is just the media conjuring this up is a bit naive.  he's an incredible wr that's on his 3rd team, of which the last two ended on bad terms.  it's a red flag.

Just more of the same from you.  Holier than thou.  More insults.  More lame attempts at trying to look "smart" and "clever".   And a few of your statements aren't even accurate as to whats been posted in this thread.  Talk about putting words in mouths.

Before you argue, at least pick a side.  Don't waiver back and forth ..  back and forth.  I get it, "winning" (which is clearly on your ego driven agenda) is easier if you are wishy washy.

And before you say, "where was i wishy washy", it's because you're attacking me for not buying into the media hype surrounding Diggs.... but then in the same breath go an about how you don't think hes a diva, etc.   So which is it?   And if it is indeed that later, why are you arguing with me?   That's right.  You just like to argue to hear yourself.

I challenge you to go back and reread your posts.  Then you want to cry foul. Please.

Beck has shouted out WAY more insults and condescending tone than the sum of all the other posters in this thread.

I challenge you to reread.

Regardless, i still believe the media is more than 95% of Diggs' issues.    And a LOT of fans are buying that.  aka drinking the kool aid

(note: the term "drinking the kool aid" is not an insult.  Its an observation as to whether one believes another is being manipulated or persuaded.)

Yeah I know what kool aid means.  Thanks for the metaphorical clarification. I wouldn’t want to take that as a condescending tone as you alluded too.

It was directed at Beck, not you.

Listen, enough snarkiness.  Me included.

We're all upset we lost Diggs, some more than others.  I do feel a bit bad about the way the fans are casting him in such a negative light.. which i believe is brought on by the media unfairly.  That is the crux of my beef here.

Its just way more upsetting to see the way Allen, who has been nothing but a peach, be trashed by NFL fans, albeit mainly as jealousy that he's not theirs.

Diggs is a diva and a clown but Bills fans can also be insufferable at times. Both can be true.

One thing that is definitely true is that, in general, Bills fans refuse to criticize Allen for anything, and are quick to blame everyone else. It's pretty obvious the WRs don't appreciate that.

I can only speak for myself, as a Bills' fan, when I say "I totally disagree with you on that one.".  I am the proud owner of a 6' cutout of Josh Allen that would get set up on gameday.  After the Jets loss in week 1 last season, I was so pissed at Josh's performance, that I hid the cutout in the garage until after we beat KC in week 14.  I also put it away rather angrily after the Cincy playoff loss.  My point is that I hold Josh to the highest standard of any player on our team because he plays the most important position.

As far as Diggs behavior... he is who he is: an experienced, emotional WR who will make spectacular catches that will be prone to selfishness, critical drops, and petulant outbursts.  There's a reason this former 5th round pick is on his third team and Josh is still on his first.

I agree with you that Josh Allen gets a lot of criticism from fans.

One need only look across this very board at the thread "Does Josh Allen still work as hard in the offseason?" and its OP post "I know this is kind of a negative Josh post." (yep, plenty of negativity on Josh in that thread as well as misquotes and many many assumptions, like "if we don't see it on social media, it didn't happen")

Then you find posts like this, for example, stating that he's "kind of bad at pre snap reads and really bad at post snap reads"  (just choosing an example, not to single anyone out - plenty more of that around)

I think Bills fans are just extra on social media, both good and bad.

The sad truth is our sports teams are the major topic 24/7 in Buffalo. We can suffocate pro athletes.

Our porn stars, too.  Don't forget them.

Why don’t you show all the times Josh missed him? Line in London? Like in Miami? Twice!

Bills fans refuse to criticise Allen for anything? Are you serious? His facial expressions are studied to the nth degree and ripped to shreds, let alone anything else.

Diggs wanted out. He did the same stuff here as he did in Minnesota to get himself traded. All the cryptic social media stuff, the bailing out of locker rooms without speaking to the media after losses and a litany of emotional outbursts were just him trying to get what he wanted.

Diggs’ opinion was that it was other people’s fault that we haven’t won a championship and that we weren’t going to do so in the near future. He blamed McDermott, Allen and (I’d guess) others. Any defense of him is often taken as support for his rationale. Likewise Bills fans often rip him because they’re fighting that line of thought as well as because he forced his way out of Buffalo.

I will stress that - right or wrong - Diggs is entitled to make his own judgements and form his own opinions. If someone thinks he was correct in his assessment, then they probably think he was smart to get out when he did. If someone thinks he was wrong, then they probably think his faulty judgement led to a mistake. Either way this is where we are now and it’s time for people to move on.

Were those games playoff games with the game on the line to the eventual Super Bowl champs? Did Josh text about Diggs afterwards? That is where Diggs lost me. Dropping the pass and fumbling earlier in the game were one thing. Tweeting about Josh after that? He wanted out obviously and the bills clearly wanted to move on!

This is way too rationale and even keeled. Can you try again a little more unhinged?
