teef Posted April 10 Share Posted April 10 i really loved diggs here, and feel he was a massive help in the development of this team. the relationship ran its course, (like many do) and now it's over. concerning being portrayed unfairly by the media...eh. digg's actions are football news, so of course you're going to hear about it in the media. guess what? if diggs didn't give them any drama to work with, there would be no reporting. to think this is just the media conjuring this up is a bit naive. he's an incredible wr that's on his 3rd team, of which the last two ended on bad terms. it's a red flag. 4 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We're all upset we lost Diggs, some more than others. I do feel a bit bad about the way the fans are casting him in such a negative light.. which i believe is brought on by the media unfairly. That is the crux of my beef here. One need only look across this very board at the thread "Does Josh Allen still work as hard in the offseason?" and its OP post "I know this is kind of a negative Josh post." Diggs’ opinion was that it was other people’s fault that we haven’t won a championship and that we weren’t going to do so in the near future. He blamed McDermott, Allen and (I’d guess) others. Any defense of him is often taken as support for his rationale. Likewise Bills fans often rip him because they’re fighting that line of thought as well as because he forced his way out of Buffalo. I will stress that - right or wrong - Diggs is entitled to make his own judgements and form his own opinions. If someone thinks he was correct in his assessment, then they probably think he was smart to get out when he did. If someone thinks he was wrong, then they probably think his faulty judgement led to a mistake. Either way this is where we are now and it’s time for people to move on.
