unbillievable
25 years from now, how will you describe this time in History to your Grandkids? Hilary vs Trump election surprise Pandemic masks and toilet paper shortages mostly peaceful protests insurrection grandmas President with Dementia Trump persecution A non-recession Recession Bills break playoff drought deadly wildfires children chopping their * off labor strikes Vaccine mandates/side effects Cocaine in the White House Artificial Intelligence Confirmation of UFOs Billionaires with their own space program We've experienced more in the last 10 years than entire generations in 50 years; Which includes 9/11, Vietnam, Smart phones, and the Internet. Inflation, housing crisis (2008 vs 2022), and multiple wars don't even make the list. edited for accuracy Edited August 19, 2023 by unbillievable

Andy1
The 1960s experienced a lot of social change and upheaval. This seems to be another period of change in our history. Climate change, social media, Trump, J6, Covid, changes in business, technology, social change, etc. It all has been a lot for older people to adjust to, easier for the younger. Change is constant. We’ve had other presidents with aging minds.

Joe Ferguson forever
I believe that in 25 years, the history books nd public perception of trump will be that of disgrace and disbelief that such a large percentage of Americans supported an obviously corrupt and dishonest man. There will be attempts to explain it but most educated people will be shaking their heads. The disbelief and disgust will worsen as more time passes. It is said that history books are written by the winners I think it’s important to remember that as we go forward, a mistake was made, and Donald Trump was elected president. We should not repeat that mistake.
