As we have discussed previously, I do think the trans movement is going to far, especially with treatment for young children.  What people decide to do as an adult is their business, but young children shouldn't be making those kinds of permanent decisions, with or without their parents.

That being said, just because these kinds of groups try to include themselves in the LGBTQ community does not mean that they are supported by LBGTQ.  I am sure there are some outliers, but a few years ago MAPS (minor attracted persons, ie pedophiles) tried to include themselves and were for the most part pushed away.

Right now there is a tiny group of people who somehow think it is ok to come out and admit they are pedophiles, and then they try to include themselves in larger acceptance groups, but that doesn't mean they are accepted by the groups.  The difference between LGBTQ and pedophiles is all about consent and harm.  Minors cannot consent to sexual acts, and therefore the acts can do them harm.  As long as the acts are between consenting adults, it's not our business.

It’s awfully ignorant and shameful of you to assume gays can’t possibly be Republicans or conservatives.

Keep posting those racist Lincoln Project dudes tho.   Most definitely grass roots.  No big money donors behind those losers.

Same Brooklyn Dad.  And on and on and on.

Actually, the ignorance of him is assuming Dems are all supportive of this trans activist movement we're seeing.

"The only thing that needs to be done to enslave people is to scare them. If you manage to find a way to scare people, you can make them do what you want.”..Herman Goering

Scared of gays.  Scared of Blacks.  Scared of trans, Scared of immigrants.  Scared of socialists.  Scared of Antifa, scared of Jews etc, etc,etc...

These culture wars are the Republicans strategy lacking any real policies on fixing the real problems facing their supporters:  inflation (which is currently 4 points below its recent high), education, health care, the debt, overwhelmingly top heavy distribution of wealth etc.  It seems so easy for their leaders to kindle and fan the flames of hate amongst the rubes.  No wonder they do it repeatedly.  The pride flag does not threaten you.  The authoritarian flags do.

Not terrified of trump but of his supporters empowering him.  "Be prepared" is always a good motto.  There are real and imagined threats.  Jan 6 was real.

Lol, so was the summer of 2020. When cities burned and the left rioted.

sure let's relitigate the differences.  One was on the capitol and the foundations of democracy, elections.  One was not.  One was organized and encouraged by the second most powerful party in the nation and a sitting president who is leading the run for another term within said party..  One was not.  One has an outside chance of authoritarian power.  One does not.

Keep telling yourself that.  Democracy at stake.  Hilarious.  What a mess.

please expound.  Why is that not a viable possibility given Jan 6 and the angry, pitchfork carrying rubes who still support it?

Please.  A bunch of unarmed knuckleheads break into the capitol.  Christ.  Given the chance, a dozen beer belly National Guardsmen could have taken them all out in two minutes.  Take over the country?  What a joke.

What's happening now with the persecution of Trump, Biden's main political rival, is way scarier than anything that happened on January 6th.  That's the type of political cleansing that happens in North Korea, Russia, Cuba, China, and South Africa.  We should all be scared to death of what the Democrats are trying to pull.  What a mess.

Awe - our resident bible thumper calls everyone a groomer (because he is a good simp) and outright ignores the grooming and SEXUAL abuse in his own church.

Classic tactic of far left commies. Also used in the ongoing trans narrative.

1. Get a far left marxist organization like SPLC to create a list of "far right" hate groups.

2. Use said marxist created list to cite, as proof positive, that groups are indeed far right, extremist, domestic terror organizations.

3. Useful idiots parrot away.

This sounds like a good idea. Do any of the Joe fans here think he, or more likely someone that can navigate a book, will read aloud for the kids? If not, why not?

Telling you. the goal is a Bill of rights for this protected group that involves the state providing the rights.
