ExiledInIllinois Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 I guess CoinStar machines might be the only way to launder them. Can't just show up with rolls of dimes everywhere, banks will notice? Stores? CoinStar and a jar of dimes at a time... And even that may raise attention. Any other ideas how they unload them if they don't get caught first (cameras)? Quote

Expand ACTUALLY: All Walmarts let you stay the night in their parking lots. They welcome RV's and campers. It's their problem. It's just best to get manager approval first... Which they probably did. Honey... Will be really gr8 to take this vacation to Wisconsin. Remember to pack the 500 rolls of dimes!" 😏 (ARE we actually thinking like the criminal mind 😆) 1 Quote

Then sell that gift card on one of the gift card exchange sites. There's lots of places that have coinstar machines, so you need to split it up as much as you can between stores. 1 Quote
dpberr Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 That's like a low-rent Cliffhanger 2 sequel. Cliffhanger is arguably one of Stallone's better films not named Rocky. Quote

You just need to put as many steps as you can between the initial heist and the clean money. And not try to do it in all in one location. The person emptying a CoinStar machine is not going to notice a larger number of dimes in the collection bin. But they will notice if that's all that is in the bin. 1 Quote
