After he fails to win the Presidency in 2024, Trump’s humiliation phase will kick in, where he is tied up in the courts and drained financially for several years. After (and during) that, the downfall will come - his donations will dry up, his wife and family will ostracize him, any remaining supporters in Congress will wash their hands of him, and he will be completely outcast from any semblance of decent American society. He will become such a pariah that he will probably have to flee to Russia. Fake electors are part of the conspiracy that Trump and some others are charged with. It's a felony charge.
