Look, I think this list is actually pretty decent. Many have been solid contributors. Expecting one position, especially late round to "turn a team around" seems like a pretty unfair burden.

Comparing to later round guys who produced better could be done at nearly any position.

Obviously forgetting Harris who was almost single handidly pushed Pitt to playoffs.

It's also very important we are talking about pick #25 and not #5.

Now show me the busts and performance of WRs....or CB....even OG another position where later rounds tend to produce viable starters.

Well excepting for the fact that Harris had average stats that were significantly worse than even our current guy in Singletary.  His YPC average was nearly a yard less per carry and he lead the Steelers to fewer wins and missing the playoffs versus the Steelers making the playoffs in a year their division was tougher without him.

They drafted Harris and adjusted the entire offense to go though their 1st round RB and they got excellent production, but the offense was less effective and they were a worse team - even though two other teams in the division - Cleveland and Baltimore were also significantly worse.

We will see, but I think Harris and the Steelers continue to be mediocre.

I think most of the list is garbage, but i think the biggest thing is the injury stuff. The only one who has "made it" and stayed healthy is Gordon really. But you are totally correct. Every year there are line 5 guys whose 5th year options re not picked up and some of those drafts were just complete garbage. At the end of the day, it probably all evens out.

Interesting chart of his average mock spot, really shot up after the combine. This was done a month ago so now it's probable even closer to 25 with all the Bills smoke.

totally that 4.39 time

80 pages on a guy who the Bills may or may not draft?   😂😂

Oh it’s happening. Breece Hall’s statistics are eye popping. His RAS, 2 years of major production, and 40 time statistically translate very very well to the NFL. So much so, that he is in Edgerrin James, AP, LT, JT, and Barry Sanders territory. He’s in good company.

Has Beane said if he had a 1st rd grade on Breece or not?

Has Beane said that he was smitten with Breece Hall or not?  If not, why have I read that 693 times in this thread?

Take a look at the slow Rachad Whites RAS score…..he has better hands too!! And can be had in rd 3-4!

but he’s too slow @ 4.48

Why would you vomit my post? Statistics are statistics. What I said is factually correct. There aren’t many RBs that have the metrics that Breece Hall does, and the ones that do were elite.

His metrics of college production and 40 time aren’t elite. Statistically he isn’t on the same level as Breece Hall, and the RB dataset and NFL production agrees. Breece Hall is in the upper echelons with near all time greats.

I vomited on your post because you said Hall in HoF territory before even playing a snap because of his college stats, RAS, 2 years of productivity and a 40 time.

of course White isn’t in the level of White…. That’s why he’s a 3-4 round pick…. But his RAS!!!  His 40 time!! His hands!!!  He has Thurman Thomas written all over him!!

Personally, I'm more into reality points.  Like wins and losses.   0:)

The point is, they are connected. If a RB is having a good game/year in fantasy they are likely producing for their teams in major ways. And that makes it beneficial to us. I don’t play fantasy anymore. But I laugh at guys like Schoop that will sit there and say things like “never ever a first round RB” and then in the next sentence talk about drafting Taylor or CMC as their #1 fantasy pick. It’s just comical.

4.39   40.   6’ 1” 217lbs.  A faster and bigger Marshawn Lynch.  Breece can run, catch, and block. He has 2 seasons with over 1,400 yards rushing. Out of all the running backs this year, he is the one I want the most. I really hope we can finally get a star RB to compliment Allen. I would roll with Breece and Singletary.

Got a lot of mileage

Based on historic data, Hall is in HOF worthy discussion already. Every great NFL player with the metrics Breece Hall has went on to do great things if they remained healthy.

81 pages of chat discussion for One possible draft choice............ we will ll know in a few scant hours just what that Brandon Beanes'  draft board looks like. I wonder if he slept last night.   Either way I know he and war room central will be ready. BRING IT!~!~

Ok - I get it the guy who has repeatedly had to correct you lacks football knowledge- nice.

Let’s review.

1st you stated in a  patronizing way how CEH when healthy lead the Chiefs to a SB victory and that proves us wrong - Oops your bad.

Then you claim that well Williams lead the team to victory and that is why a running back being drafted is important. - except Williams was an UDFA again showing you do not need the high pick to help you team.

Then there is the 106 yards at a 6.1 YPC and 29 yards receiving to show how vital he was to the win.  Except non of that was true - going into the 4th quarter he had 60 yards and a 4 YPC average and the Chiefs were losing 20-10 - the Chiefs took the lead solely on the arm of Mahomes.  Then after a 4th down stop with the 49ers running an all out blitz - Williams did manage to make a 38 yard run to put up the final score - it was nice, but he had little to do with the outcome - it was all Mahomes.  To cement that what did the Chiefs do - they tried to replace the UDFA with CEH.

Finally then you state - well that is important that you RB can score from anyplace on the field, but you know who has had a longer TD run each year he has been in the league - yep Singletary.  So once again your argument points to the fact that a guy on our roster can already do everything the RB in KC did to win the SB.

You have not done anything, but provide excellent reasons why the Bills should stick with a 2 million dollar RB in Singletary.  He has broken more long runs than the guy that you claimed helped KC win the SB.  He has a better career YPC and Yard per catch.

Whatever - you showed your knowledge with you first incorrect post - since then you have just been bailing and flailing.

Whatever.

people like you make me want to trade the entire draft to trade up for a RB that we could have had at 57 anyway just to watch your head explode.

stay safe out there. Enjoy your misery if they take Hall tonight.

I'm with you, it's time to groom another RB to take Singletary's place.  But that RB should not be a 1st round pick.

How many more times are we going to take a running back in the 3rd to be only average, if that, for the next 3 years.

To be honest, I don't really want Hall at 25, l prefer a CB, but I'm just defending if Beane makes that choice. I won't be upset if that's our pick. If we get Hall, prefer it's a trade up in the 2nd.

Laugh all you want. Whether the Bills take Hall or not, he will be a HOF RB if he stays healthy. The statistics are eye popping.

Just like Rob Johnson would be an all-pro and would have led the Bills to the Superbowl?
