Stocks Sink in Worst Week Since Bottoming in June:

Stocks fell, capping the worst week since the market hit its low for the year in June, as FedEx Corp.’s warning added to growing concern over outsized Federal Reserve interest-rate hikes.

The S&P 500 fell for a third day this week, down close to 5% for the period, the most since the week ended June 17. The Nasdaq 100 sank 5.8% in the five-day period for the worst week since January. Dip buyers emerged in afternoon trading, with gains in some big tech names including Nvidia Corp. and Intel Corp. FedEx plunged more than 20% after the package-delivery giant withdrew its earnings forecast, citing weakening business conditions.

Is something about Fetterman’s polling scaring the beejeebus out of his campaign?

“Fetterman’s stroke has seriously hampered his ability to campaign – once he emerged from the basement, it’s apparent he lacks the ability to string a coherent sentence together – while his obfuscation concerning his recovery, the bulge on his neck he’s obviously been trying to hide, and, most importantly, how serious his current state of cognitive impairment is, all are hugely concerning.

It’s also brought more scrutiny than perhaps an individual of his few good personality points could withstand – there really is little likable about him. Not to mention the nitpicky – does he own a decent shirt?

Dr. Oz, for all the teeth gnashing about his candidacy, and questions about his commitment to a long slog of campaigning, has done something truly admirable and kind of unexpected – the work.

The fabulous Salena Zito has trailed Oz across the state: small towns to county fairs to main street storefronts. Watched him connect, meet people in all manner of impromptu settings, and witnessed those folks come away believers.”

Not only has this guy had a stroke, but I recently learned that he has a pacemaker/defibrillator because of cardiomyopathy.  You give someone a defibrillator if you're worried about them having ventricular tachycardia/fibrillation.  Not good.

Sorry Democrats, Abortion Won’t Save You

by David Catron

The desperate attempts by the White House, congressional Democrats, and the corporate media to refocus voter attention on abortion rather than inflation are failing. Most reputable polls show that the electorate is far more concerned about mismanagement of the economy by President Biden and his collaborators in Congress than about threats to reproductive rights posed by “MAGA Republicans.” Contrary to Democratic hopes, November won’t be about abortion vs. inflation.

The midterms will be a referendum on Biden’s performance, particularly as it affects inflation.

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2022-election-forecast/senate/

Dems keep pulling away from Republicans in the 538 senate projection, up to a 72/100 shot. It was down at 40/100 in June.

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2022-election-forecast/house/

House is now at 29/100, was as low as 13/100 in July.

Democrats best ally now is time. Time for more terrible abortion stories to come out, time for more Republicans to treat humans as political pawns, time for more policies to help people show results.

Republicans seem to be like the Browns playing the Jets with 2 mins left in the game.

All the polls are skewing D - give it a month.

And thanks for listing abortion as the legit only reason you or any other lunatic votes for these social distancing fascist commie morons.

Killing kids is the platform.  And Trump sucks.

This is so inspiring.

Democrats get 100% on the issue of recognizing biological males can menstruate.

Here's what Google says "Having a period is not a feminine thing, and people of all genders menstruate, including non-binary people, a gender people and even plenty of men!"

When push comes to shove, nobody believes this crap they're just afraid to tell the truth because the inquisition will burn them at the stake.

Don't Believe the Hype: Biden's Unpopularity Will Absolutely Be a Drag on Democrats in November

by Stacey Lennox

While some pollsters show the Republican lead in the generic ballot shrinking away, other polls make it difficult to understand how most Americans will vote for anyone supporting the Biden agenda. According to a new poll from Rasmussen, only 28% of likely voters think the country is heading in the right direction. This week’s finding is down two points from a week ago.

WaPo analyst: Democrats are fooling themselves on midterm turnout.

On Monday the Post published an Opinion piece by David Byler, a data analyst and political columnist who used to work at RealClearPolitics. He did something that most political reporters are too lazy to do: dive into the numbers and look at how elections have turned out in the past. You may have noticed that a lot of the horse race polls have shown that Republicans aren’t doing as well as expected, and Republicans have gotten a bit nervous about what is going on.

The thing is that the polls have a terrible track record of predicting close elections. They suck. Like really bad. They always underestimate Republican turnout.

So Byler looked at more reliable indicators, and behold! If this election is anything like other recent elections, things look pretty good for Republicans.

Trafalgar is the latest poll out in PA (9/16), and the media has ignored it.  Why?  It shows both races in statistical dead heats. (Gov: S47-M45, Sen: F48-O46) Error:  2.9%

Trafalgar has a larger polling group, smaller margin of error, and even has greater under sampling of Republicans than F&M.

"Too extreme" Doug Mastriano couldn't possibly be tied with Josh Shapiro!  Yeah, looks that way.

So McCarthy gave a speech today and sitting right behind him in plain view was Majorie Taylor Green. She is a leader in this satanic drive to get their dirty hands back on power. She isn't a back bencher, she is Trump's whip in the House.
