It’s next to impossible to find people in my age group that can, or are willing to do that. Which tells me that they never would’ve put in the work to build up any sort of pipeline to make money beyond base salary anyway. So, fine … there’s always jobs at the Amazon’s of the world, where you’re nothing more than a cog in the machine and then wonder why you’re miserable and can’t get ahead financially. Amazon pays less and actively works against them forming a union to give them better working conditions but people flock there. You sound like insurance business? UPS Workers are Teamsters, with Teamster protections and Teamster lawyers to fix there traffic problems. Usually though, you used to have to put your time in as package handler before you get a truck. That's overnight, minimum wage work, at least it was when I was there about seven years ago.
