I always thought they did a nice job with the cliché of surgeons being like the jocks and the internists as the nerds. The medicine in the show was pretty well done, too. I really respected the one where they diagnosed an organ donor with rabies post-donation. I think that was based on a real case. My thought came up on this because I got misdiagnosed twice this year for my injury. Two doctors flat out missed it and then a Specialist found it. I have a ruptured disc. How did two General Practioners miss it?? I know they aren't back and spine specialist but still a little confused how they both got the same missed diagnosis. Yup, watched every episode until the last season or so when it moved to another network. As for how they missed the diagnosis, it can happen. I won't defend them, but it happens. Yes and I do have that. But found out about that 4 years ago. The frequent pissing started about a year or 2 after. I just chalked it up to getting old. Also still have not gathered up enough courage to get the prostate checked. I know it needs to be done, or should have already been done.
