Before Courier Express went out of business I did classified ad typesetting and they would deduct for every mistake.

I never had a deduction.

Assistant editor was out so I was asked to check proofs for mistakes and found a load of them.

Editor was so impressed he got an override written on my contract as "auxiliary editor" and I got paid for finding mistakes.

Any time I was not doing my work he'd had me stacks of proofs to check.

My late Grandmother was a proofreader for the Tonawanda News.  She would plotz reading the Internet today.

It appears that you consider yourself a genius editor.

Quick fact check, The Courier Express printed it's last edition in 1982.
