“Why, so you can continue to flood this message board with every nonsensical piece of garbage you harvest out of the Twitter sphere? You don’t think people can go on Twitter and read this crap for themselves? Copying and pasting is NOT the purpose of a message board. Try offering something of value, or a slightly well reasoned adult worthy opinion once in a while and you’ll watch my standard bored to death response change. Ready, set, go! “

Biden abandons Alaska oil drilling project after previously vowing to defend it

FTA:

This is more ineptness and incompetence by Team Biden, likely deliberate.

We are facing supply chain disruptions, growing inflation, and the price of gas to fill our cars is rapidly rising. The administration is tone-deaf and indifferent to the lives of ordinary Americans. It’s a callous approach to governing. The Biden administration is facing a huge embarrassment on the international stage over showing up in Glasgow next week for the climate change conference with nothing to show for America’s commitment to making the subject a top priority.

The infrastructure bill is held up in Congress and Democrats’ wish list of burdening American taxpayers with saving the planet is on the backburner for now. The administration is more concerned about being a member of the international club than showing commitment to American jobs and energy independence.

Biden goes hat-in-hand to OPEC to beg them to pump more oil into the world market to reduce prices and increase supply instead of allowing projects to move forward on American soil.

In Biden’s America, we are back to the days of energy dependence and demonizing energy producers.

Demented Biden and his communist buddies' "America Last" agenda continues to fail.  How much more of a ***** show can it get?  I've said this before.  We'd be better off with a pile of steaming dung for a president than this clown.  At least the dung wouldn't screw up everything it touched and could be used for fertilizer later on.

What a Mess.jpg

I’M SO OLD I REMEMBER WHEN BIDEN SAID HE WASN’T GOING TO RAISE TAXES ON ANYONE MAKING LESS THAN $400,000:

Here's the thing about his tax proposals.  He recommends raising taxes on single filers making $400k or more but married joint filers making $450k.  Why is no one pointing out the absurdity in this?  Who suggested this?  The CPA lobby?  "Wait.....if we do this we'll be preparing twice as many tax returns!  Brilliant!!"

LOL, I was wondering how many divorces are going to come out of this tax plan.  There are a lot of two income households in the NY/NJ/CT area that are going to get absolutely hammered by these tax hikes.  Middle class households.   Very few people realize the vast differences in cost of living across certain parts of the country.

Married filing separately is typically not recommend.   That will likely change.  Ahhhhh government and their constant inability to think things through.

Biden's tax pledge is "up in smoke"

One of the many tax-and-spend ideas that President Joe Biden has been trying to jam through in his massive spending bills hasn’t been drawing nearly as much attention as the others. We’ve focused on his various ideas for billionaire taxes and millionaire taxes, along with jacking up the corporate tax rate so companies can “pay their fair share.” (The wealthy already pay a massive majority of all income taxes collected, by the way.)

But that tax burden will only be paid by the wealthy, right? Biden has promised repeatedly that anyone making less than $400K per year won’t pay “a single cent” more in taxes. But as Jim Geraghty points out at National Review, the current proposal includes yet another massive increase in taxes on tobacco products. Not only is this tax not restricted to just the wealthy, but statistically it can be shown that it will hit the poorest Americans the hardest, or at least the ones who choose to use tobacco products anyway.

Joe Biden Starts Wildly Screaming at a Reporter After He Gets Caught Lying

Some days ago, The Wall Street Journal reported on settlements being reached with illegal immigrants that could pay as much as $450,000 a person. That is being ostensibly done as restitution for families that were separated under the Donald Trump presidency.

When Joe Biden was asked about the report, though, he called it “garbage,” claiming that it was not going to happen. A day later, his own White House contradicted him, saying that settlements are being negotiated that could reach that amount.

You’d think, at that point, that the president would understand he got caught with his pants down, having no idea what his own administration is doing. Instead, when asked again about it today, Biden doubled down on lying and began to — bizarrely — start screaming at the reporter.

A fair warning, this is really uncomfortable to watch.

Biden has become notorious for being unable to control his emotions when confronted about just about anything. That’s especially true when he knows he’s caught in a lie. Perhaps it’s just his personality, or more likely his senility, but it’s completely unbecoming of a president. Does he think screaming at reporters dictates some kind of moral authority?

In this case, Biden starts wildly yelling about people losing their children, while pointing in a threatening manner.

But attempting to make an anger-fueled moral case is simply a deflection here. Biden knows he’s caught in a lie, and then doubles down with another lie. At the beginning of the clip, he claims that “he didn’t say that,” when asked about him dismissing the reports about the payments as “garbage.” Except, he absolutely did say that.

School Board Memo Reveals Timeline of White House ‘Domestic Terrorism’ Letter

Newly publicized documents revealed more details about how the National School Boards Association (NSBA) communicated with the White House before sending out a letter likening concerned parents to domestic terrorists.

In the widely criticized Sept. 29 letter to President Joe Biden, the NSBA characterized disruptions at school board meetings across the nation as “a form of domestic terrorism and hate crime.” It also urged the federal government to invoke counter-terrorism laws to handle “angry mobs” of parents seeking to hold school officials accountable for teaching the Marxist-inspired critical race theory and for imposing COVID-19 restrictions such as mask mandates on their children.

Just five days later, Attorney General Merrick Garland issued a memo directing federal law enforcement to help address the alleged “disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence” against teachers and school leaders. Garland’s rather swift response has raised suspicions among some Republican members of Congress, who are looking into the role the Biden administration played in the crafting and release of the NSBA letter.

According to a timeline provided in an Oct. 12 memo (pdf) sent from NSBA President Viola Garcia to state association officers and executive directors, the organization has been interacting with White House staff regarding the alleged threats of violence since as early as mid-September.

“In the September 14, 2021 meeting of the [NSBA Organization of State Association Executive Directors] liaison group, they were informed there had been a meeting with White House staff that morning and that NSBA was preparing to send a letter to the President,” read the memo obtained by advocacy group Parents Defending Education via a Freedom of Information Act request.

The memo includes excerpts of a Sept. 17 email notice by NSBA Interim Executive Director and CEO Chip Slaven, which stated that “NSBA is taking a number of actions regarding calling for protection and resources to assist school board members with these threats including a call for the President and federal government for more assistance.”
