Same with my family.  And we read three newspapers a day, Courier Express, Buffalo Evening News, and Tonawanda News.

Now this made me laugh!  Read and read actually read the same way.  So, here I'm thinking you're still working your way up to current day with back issues of the Courier Express.  I won't give away the ending, but as a hint the draught lasts way, way longer than you think it does...and if you can wait it out, the Bills made the AFC Championship this year!

Read rhymes the lead

Read rhymes with lead

But read doesn’t rhyme with lead.

Sometimes the written word can be very confusing.

https://www.cnn.com/2021/04/27/politics/new-york-post-fact-check-kamala-harris-book-migrants/index.html

Washington (CNN)The New York Post temporarily deleted, and then edited and republished, a debunked article that falsely claimed that copies of Vice President Kamala Harris' book were being included in "welcome kits" given to migrant children at a shelter in Long Beach, California.

The reporter who wrote the article, Laura Italiano, tweeted late Tuesday afternoon that she had resigned from the newspaper. Italiano tweeted: "The Kamala Harris story -- an incorrect story I was ordered to write and which I failed to push back hard enough against -- was my breaking point."

The Post newsroom referred questions about Italiano to a public relations representative, who did not immediately respond to a request for a response to Italiano's accusation that she had been "ordered" to write the article.

The Post's major revisions to the article earlier on Tuesday came after the inaccuracies had already spread widely in conservative circles -- and prompted baseless accusations that Harris, whom President Joe Biden has assigned to lead the effort to stem the flow of migrants to the southern border, was personally profiting from the immigration situation.

The Post's Tuesday changes to the article, which was originally published on Friday, followed a Washington Post fact check in which a Long Beach spokesman explained that a community member had donated a single copy of the Harris children's book, "Superheroes Are Everywhere," as part of a book drive -- and that the book would not be handed out in a welcome kits.

I know this is now an "old lie" but wow!

 CNN reporter Daniel Dale explained:

[Fox reporter John] Roberts had falsely claimed on Friday that the study — which is not connected in any way to Biden’s actual policies — found that people need to “say goodbye to your burgers if you want to sign up to the Biden climate agenda.” As Roberts spoke on Friday, Fox aired a graphic that claimed “Biden’s climate requirements” are to “cut 90% of red meat from diet, max 4 lbs per year, one burger per month.”

The graphic went viral online; it was amplified on Twitter by Donald Trump Jr., the Republican governors of Texas and Idaho and others. But it was entirely wrong.

The difference between Fox News and CNN/MSNBC and other mainstream liberal outlets is this.  The perspective of the audience.  Fox viewers understand the stories and opinions are skewed toward their beliefs and the network is speaking to them and that the stories and opinions are tailored to their viewpoints.

Viewers on liberal outlets don't understand this.  They think the news is completely objective.  They don't realize or consider the idea they're being feed a constant stream of "news" and opinion that is pure confirmation bias all day long.

Conservatives have enough brain matter to distinguish between propaganda and facts.  Liberals buy the narrative they're fed all day long hook, line, and sinker.

Wait....you mean the Benghazi attack wasn't due to a cartoon drawn by some dude in Cincinnati?  You mean Trump didn't actually pee on a bed full of hookers?  You mean the world isn't going to end in NINE years?  And...you mean there aren't dead bodies littering the streets because Covid  'overwhelmed' our hospital system?

As opposed to CNN and running 4 years of conspiracy theories about Trump and Russia?  I mean did you pay attention to the last four years?

The recent Durham probe findings have only been covered by a few outlets, just sayin’. This is pretty scary stuff to know the White House possibly was hacked by political opposition then a false collusion narrative developed. This should worry every American, regardless of your party preference. If this can happen in the White House, it can happen at the local and state levels and even to you!
