Do Trump supporters approve what happened at the Capitol building ?

I'll answer that....the vast, vast majority don't approve of storming the building, and therefore as you saw, the vast, vast majority of the people there didn't storm the Capitol Building.  However, the vast majority of Trump supporters, just like Left Wing supporters approve of being able to peacefully assemble and express their grievances to their government.

There may have been different factions there as mob mentality brings in all sorts of characters. What we know factually is that the intent, coordination, and communication of the rally was by Trump supporters (and by design) to protest (ostensibly peacefully) the election results.

I imagine that there were many Trump supporters (along with supporters of no one and supporters of chaos, the left, the right, and anarchy) who broke into the Capitol.

The key takeaway here is that no party owns or can claim law and order. The right and the left have good people and ***** people. There is a lot of ethical relativism that’s taken over politics.

You can either be on the side of moral relativism or on the side of facts and solutions. Not sure you can have both.

If you’re bringing up some guy who claims to be a part of some far left group as a way to assuage the culpability of the party you support then you may be being morally relativistic and not part of the solution to fix that crap from yesterday.

There is, of course, another option. The option abandoning any notion that party affiliation carries with it any inherent qualities of good or bad. Rather political parties are comprised of many flawed people with imperfect ideologies that need to meet moderation in order to work for the majority of the law abiding citizenry.

I realize this isn't going to go over well on this new version of the PPP....but is anyone really surprised that something like yesterday happened?  Really?

You can hate on Donald Trump all you'd like, but this entire debate comes down to chicken and egg.  All tribal rivalries do. The Right feels they aren't being heard.  And guess what...the Left feels they aren't being heard.  What do they have in common:  THEY ARE NOT BEING HEARD!  Is it any small wonder that our Congress gets such low approval ratings?

Put down the hate for a minute. Breath. Take out a mirror, and do some self examination.

This has nothing to do with that. This has to do with people being fed lies about an election that ended up being fair and not fraudulent. This is the time democracy has proven to hold true, in the hands of a tyrannical president who has lost the mental capabilities to govern our country, tried to use fear and terrorism to take down the Capitol.

He failed and the American way held true where Republicans and Democrats alike came together to finish the jobs they were voted in to do, after a horrific scene happened with Trumpsters acting on a presidents wishes to destroy democracy.

God bless America, justice prevails and the lies are finally snuffed out.

Well now somebody with a brain here! I don't have loyalty to a party, I vote when I hear truth coming from somebody and I don't vote for those whom I believe only seek to deceive.

I agree there are good people and ***** people in every party, and in every walk of life. Heck, I agree with everything you said!

i just got home from DC.  watched some news and what i see on tv was very different from actually being there.  Most of the crowd discouraged destruction and violence.  Also saw about 5 Bills fans.  if you wanna hear my stories, i will be happy to share but im not gonna deal with insults.  Go Bills!

They hid the forum and will ban anyone that is not with them. It's the type of "freedom" they wanted.

Thanks.  I'm sure they aren't 'hidden' from the FBI, so if they want to go swimming in the insurrection pool, then ok.  If this gets any more serious, then I'd imagine that spreading false info about your country supporting insurrection will be a crime.

Even 5% of 80k is A LOT of people joining an insurrection.  You can't downplay it by saying most of them weren't complete idiots

Everyone with a brain knows this.

Those lunatics that stormed the Capitol do not represent the 75 million people that voted for him.

And the Bills contingency here in NOVA is strong.  And a lot are on the bandwagon as just fans who like Allen and the team.

America's Team.

Most of that 75 million support the insurgents more than they support fellow Americans who are standing up for those who were killed wrongfully.  They are madder about kneeling than they are insurrection, which in my book, makes them complete idiots.

In case Trump supporters aren't sure if he loves them back, we have these quotes from back to back days:

"go home, we love you, you're very special."

"a heinous attack."  and "You will pay."

Yet like battered spouse syndrome, you still love him.
