Which QB do you want the phish to draft?

Pretty straight forward. Our division rival is likely to come out of this week with someone they assume will be their franchise QB for the next 10-15 years. Who do we want that to be? Who scares you the most? Whose easiest to root against? Who do you expect to be a bust? Do you want them to draft a colossal bust, or a middling guy who is never good enough?

In 2018 I wanted the Jets to draft Rosen as I knew he would be a bust. Darnold I thought would have a chance at a decent career, though that’s still to be determined.

I personally want them to take Herbert, either passing on Tua or being jumped in front of. I don’t think Herbert will be a franchise changing QB, and I worry that Tua (if he stays healthy) will be. With that being said, I’m happy to root against whoever they draft, but Tua is harder to root against for me, both as a player and as a person.

Jordan Love.  Dude's gonna be a train wreck

It doesn't matter who they draft because their O line is awful.  They have brought in scrubs for years.  I remember when they had Richmond Webb and Dwight Stephenson.  They were men who were tough to play against.

Tua should be exciting.  But as I have said numerous times.  Many Bama players are overrated going to the pros.  They have a GREAT PROGRAM.  When these guys play together they usually dominate at the college level.  (And they are treated like royalty, like at most SEC schools)  Although they usually play a very soft non conference schedule.  (most of the SEC does-and lets see what you huge SEC fans have to say about that)  As individuals at the pro level a lot of them do not distinguish and are just a bunch of guys, or worse.  (See Cyrus Kuonjio Reggie Ragland Regan Upshaw Trent Richardson Cheeseburger Lacey, Foster the LB from SF and Wash, etc)  I am a Bama fan. (they are my favorite Southern team- but I  bleed Maize and Blue) But I am not sure Tua would have dominated playing in the cold North with a mediocre O line.  Just saying guys.  Something to think about.  I just hate getting all on anyone's hype train, until they show what they can do against the best game in and game out.

Peterman, or similar, I never want to see our opponents do anything well.

I will limit my options to the top four.   Of the top 4, I would like to see Miami draft Justin Herbert, unless New England drafts him instead.  Herbert struggles with anticipation.  He needs to see his receiver open.  Some other QBs who have that issue are EJ Manuel and Tyrod Taylor.

I hope they trade for Trubisky.

That would be nice.

Herbert.  He has physical tools and he's a beheamoth.  I went to the Rose Bowl and the kid looked like a lineman.  But he will take time I think.  If an Andy Reid/Sean Payton type coach took him I'd be concerned.  But I don't think Miami has that coach.   I think they will take Tua.  Injuries are a concern but not his QB polish.
