Did Pompeo really say it was genetically modified or not? It’s like he didn’t listen to himself.

One of two possible answers - He screwed up the first question or a Freudian slip where he inadvertently let out the classified info that he has.

Liberalism has, for whatever reason, has become a party of hate. After living in the Bay Area for several years I saw it first hand. I didn’t like Obama’s policies for the most part but didn’t hate everything he did or said. I actually would think he’d be a very interesting person to have over for dinner.

Examples of liberate hate?

It is a strange interaction. In another interview yesterday, he said, “We don’t know if it came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. We don’t know if it emanated from the wet market or yet some other place. We don’t know those answers.”

Wait just a galled-danged minute!

Eleven people died in the us yesterday.

Eleven. If we can save just one life, the national house arrest dictums are worth it. Think of the grandparents. Don’t throw them over the cliff! #NATIONALSOCIALISTWORKERSPARTYGOVERNORSCONSORTIUM

Strange how the numbers change but the death rate stays at .069.

Wrong.

The count from yesterday, even on that site, is not 11, a number you stated twice, but 1154. It was a low day but every weekend seems to be. Last Saturday, 1156 people died. By Tuesday, it was up around 2500.

There's a higher probability that he knows a lot more than what he's been saying publicly.

Looking at the worldwide numbers

249,014 divided by 3,590,515  is .069, and that hasn't changed very much at all

That's not a statistic you want to be true.

It's by far not the right number thankfully.

Nanker's mistake aside, the trends over the last week have been incredibly consistent - USA's death rate settled at 5.75%, NYS is at 7.6%.  New cases are growing a 2.8% (4-day moving avg), NYS is at 1.8%.  All of this is happening with millions more getting tested daily.

Time to open up.

7% of people with Covid-19 don't die.

The number is markedly lower than that. If it wasn't, this would be a Biblical plague.

See my post from last night.  This is approximately 0.4% but that is still high given the rate of transmission.

This was the initial, but faulty analysis by many, including Nial Ferguson, which set the stage for the lockdowns.  Now with much more data in hand and two months of treatments in the highly infected regions in NYC metro, Italy & Spain, the actual rate is closer to 0.4% and possibly lower.

There's virtually no reason every area of US outside immediate NYC area shouldn't start reopening immediately.
