Dude absolutely you saw it. People here will defend this guy irrationally. Turnovers? Not his fault. Ball behind the receiver? Wideout mustve f’ed up the timing. Interceptions and pick-6es? Must be zay jones fault.

Guy’s never gonna lead us to more than 8 wins. Rather have Murray at this point.

I hope, HOPE i am wrong promo, i really do. I don’t see it yet.

1) I doubt you hope you're wrong.

2) You'll never see it because...
3) Your mind is made up about Allen. He sucks.

That's not true. It was a hold in the middle of the play on Knox underneath. He didn't know that was going to be called when he looked to throw and threw it. It was a good close on the ball by the Jet.

I'll will check that play on Game Pass to see if the flag was thrown before Allen passed it.

IIRC, the call was defensive holding, don't think that really qualifies as a free play

Why wouldn't that be a free play?

That’s okay if you think that but yes, honestly i really do hope i’m wrong because he’s our QB good or bad and i’m not here starting stupid prediction threads like @transplantbillsfan I’m just going on what I see - he’ll never win us more than 8 games unless he gets significantly better.

It was barely a hold. He could not have seen that was going to be the call regardless of when it was thrown. But I would bet it was thrown as Josh was throwing the ball. Not a chance it was a free play kind of thing like a guy jumping off sides. The Jet grabbed Knox from behind and barely held him up. It was a penalty but not a blatant one.

But two minutes ago you said you'd rather have Kyler Murray.

I don't believe he's quite on par with his receivers just yet. Today did show he was developing a good chemistry with both Beasley and Brown, rocky as it was

It's not if you just count running backs.

I'm not even going to hold my breath for that stat from you because I know it's not forthcoming.

The point is that you don't run a RB who gets 4.0 ypa for productivity.....that's not good......you do it to impact the defense physically.

So late in a game....when you are desperate for a score the way the flagging Jets were.......if you lean heavily on a low ypa player you are likely going to be punting a lot sooner than you can string together enough plays to get in the end zone.

I would! If I had a choice. We don’t. So I will support Allen until he flames out or leads us to the promised land. Either or. Not going to attribute every win (especially close ones) to Allen’s “dominance” though when he did nothing of the sort.

Also, why isn’t there a “cut beasley” thread yet? Given he dropped one of the easiest balls I’ve ever seen .

Very well could be. Hope that’s it.

For some reason, ever since the 3rd preseason game (the only Bills game I got to watch so far ?), he seemed to be jittery. At some point, he finally did calm down. Development takes time, even moreso patience. Good thing is he won't be facing D lines like the Jets all the time. But for all his faults today, the playcalling needs some work too

I know. You get attacked by some around here if you point these things out unfortunately. Again, and I said it 4 posts ago, I think Allen played much better 2nd half.

If you don’t got universal praise for the kid, though, u just a hater.

Meh, the way I see it, let him get it all out of his system now and get better. What better time for it than now and especially against Gase and the Jokes

Here we go with the all-or-nothing excuse.

It's no secret that a number of posters hated the Allen pick and will resist admitting they might be wrong. All I heard all off-season was how Allen had to get more accurate, look for shorter throws underneath, don't take off running so much, stay in the pocket, get his completions above 60%, learn to play from behind, etc etc. Well, he checked all those boxes today, and still people complain.

Promo come on man. I am not hating (not in my eyes at least) but the all or nothing comment applies here because I know and I KNOW you know that allen criticism gets killed by his cheerleaders here (and there are several.)
