Government Storm Preparation. Improved?

It would appear to me that the Federal government and the states are very much working in unison to do as much as possible to prepare for weather disasters. I just get a different feeling than I ever did in the last decade as far as the amount of competency and preparedness shown now than in the past.

This suggests Trumps mental state is deteriorating.

President Trump on Wednesday displayed a map that he said reflected Hurricane Dorian's original path, but the image appeared to be manually altered with a marker to show the storm's trajectory continuing toward Alabama.

Trump later told reporters that he did not know anything about the changed map, but was adamant that original forecasts called for Alabama to be impacted by the hurricane.

The president referenced the map during an Oval Office briefing on the government's efforts to monitor and respond to Dorian as it made its way up the East Coast. The White House later released a video of some of his remarks that featured the chart.

Of course Alabama might be impacted by the hurricane. That doesn't mean that they would get 100mph winds but they might get higher winds than normal and a lot of rain. Even WNY might be impacted, so I would advise you to hunker down underneath your bridge.

Trump put out his hand and the storm stood still for a few days?

Unlike Obama there was not much Trump could do about the rising seas but Trump was able to guide the storm away from Mar A Lago and in a little bit more northward direction.  How could he compete with this?

I wish he'd nuked it.

I just want to see that, a ten megaton nuke in the eye of a hurricane.  Anyone who denies wanting to see that is a liar.

I actually feel bad for her.  The in-studio staff was pretty merciless.

...just sad when billions are ponied up and squandered....how many tons of aid were left undistributed in PR?......how come?....locals STILL napping?.......and the scammers who gravitate to disaster site(s) screwing anybody and everybody they can, exploiting desperation....5 grand to cut up a tree that would be $500?.....should be shot......
