Nary a peep from the team, but all of WNY was talking about it like they knew. Old time, I thought this was true and almost had confirmation. Coach Cowher and I frequented the same Starbuck's in Raleigh (Six Forks and Lassiter Mill) for a number of years. One Saturday morning he was in front of me in line and my boys had their Bills gear on....the Barista at the time was a kid from Buffalo and also a huge Bills fan. Both the Barista and I said, "Coach are we going to see you roaming the sidelines at Ralph Wilson Stadium next year?" He just smiled at both of us and said Buffalo was a great football town. I thought for sure we had him.
