Everyone needs a good "bagman".

Did Chris Carter tell you that? He told the rest of the world.

I like to watch Zion play, and I want to see Izzo win.

I used to really dislike Calipari and thought he was a snake, now I only think he's a snake. I've accepted the fact that most big time coaches in successful programs are pretty much snakes. You got to do whatever you can to keep up with the Jonses.

Coach K is king snake now.

I've been a big Duke fan since the Laettner era, but now Coach K is just another guy recruiting these one and done players(Zion).  ***** them.  I was glad they lost.  I'd love to see Zion's transcripts for his freshman season....of course they'd be doctored transcripts.

I never like seeing one-and-done teams make it all the way, so needless to say I'm happy (for numerous) reasons the Dookies got their due.  Should be a really interesting Final Four; wouldn't at all be surprised by a Texas Tech/Auburn final but I feel like Virginia will find a way to get it done.

so that's it for having to hear how every single gift rebound by Zion off a missed opponent's free throw is the greatest freaking thing that ever happened and we should all fall on the ground and go into hysterics because nobody ever grabbed a sham gift rebound like this in 10,000,000 years?

Coach K, go back to what made you famous, recruit good players that really aren't NBA material (even though some stole big $$ from the pros) and they will stick around for 4 years and you can gel them into a decent college team.

Final Four starts tonight.

My town, home of UVA,  is on fire.

Go Hoos.

Great town! Beautiful campus.

We had plans to meet friends for dinner tonight......without taking the games into account. This might call for a change of venue! Have I mentioned I’m an idiot, or was that just you guys saying that?

Auburn trying to close it out......and............no play on the ball with late foul and 1.5 seconds left....Bruce Pearls wife looks like she might vomit.....you do NOT foul the jump shooter at the buzzer....FT’s to win the game.....can’t complain about a boring game.....tied....one FT left to win it.....and.....UVA gets to the Final!!!!!

Feel terrible for the kid with the stupid foul at the end.

UVA advances on an uncalled double dribble.

The foul in the corner was indeed a foul. My (former PG) son never stopped screaming about the double dribble near half court.

We were screaming that at the TV. Horrible refereeing. They got the foul call right, but it never should have come to that. Tough way to go out for Auburn.

UVA guy dribbled it off his foot at half court, ball was loose, and he grabbed it with both hands and started dribbling again. They eventually even showed it in slo-mo and commented on it. The possession should have gone to Auburn before UVA ever took a shot.

Auburn was screwed almost as bad as the Saints in the playoffs. A true “how did they miss that???” Moment!

Absolutely the right call.

Kyle Guy was hit in the hip, and his dead on three came up short as the result.

Stupid foul, but the right call.

Rockin in Charltottesville tonight.

WAHOO-WA

Right call on the foul indeed.

Right after the no call on Jerome’s double dribble.

I'm an honest man..

They clearly blew the double dribble.

Still, fouling on a three when down by two cost them the game, and it was clearly a foul.

I like Auburn and they played well, but they lost.

Can't wait until Monday, but what a great tournament.

Virginia, who has not played anywhere near what they did in the ACC regular season is in.

Can't ask for more.

Mayhem at my house.

Definitely a double dribble on Ty Jerome.  He lost his dribble, ball hit is shoe, he turned around, picked it up, and dribbled again.

By rule, a double dribble.  Auburn should have got the ball back with 5.4 seconds.  The foul on Guy would have never happened.

Enjoy the celebration. The Cavs deserve to be there. Guy has ice water in his veins.

All true. I feel for Auburn’s Harper, too. If he hits the second half of his one and one, the best Guy could do is send it to overtime. I give the Tigers credit from coming all the way back from 10 down with five to go. Helluvan effort.

It will be insane here on Monday.

Such a great group of kids and such a great coach.

Everything done right.

Just the best of college sports teams.

Win or lose, what we all hope sports can be.

I’m not a gambling man, but I’d wager the next game won’t be as close, exciting and with the same level of controversy as the last. I’m just hoping for a decent game.

Maybe a little Bruce Pearl karma there?

Still, a great game and I feel for the kids.

Well stated.

There has been a lot of talk about UVA, but what is never mentioned is that they almost always win the second half, and never give up a second half lead.

They generally struggle in the first half and strangle the other team in the second half.

Major kudos to Auburn.

Too bad they fouled him after that;  he was just heaving up a desperation shot.  The sixth foul let VA reset for the last play.

OK, Mich St/TT is a snooze fest. Let’s declare the first one to 25 the winner.......only 20 seconds left in the first half and they’ve scored a COMBINED 44 points.

Not such a snoozer in H2!

It’d be cool if UB could say they lost to the eventual NCAA Champs.

It did indeed improve! Still low scoring overall, but much more fun to watch. I’ve missed more than usual of the tourney this year due to crazy conflicts, but what I’ve seen has been awesome, as always! March Madness is gold!

I actually saw more of it than previous years.

Great tourney, lots of surprises (Duke, Gonzaga, NC, et al). Sure screwed up lots of folks brackets!

We were one missed double dribble call away from seeing Texas Tech vs Auburn in the NCAA Final. How weird is THAT

Auburn over UVA would’ve been another great upset!

Don’t know how the official missed that double dribble, and no one from Auburn called ‘em out.

Beacause Xavier missed it for like the 2nd time in 14 years, I was in a funk and never got my bracket done. No loss, it’s usually shattered in the first 48 hours!

We were in Asheville, NC for fun the first weekend, then I joined my wife who was working in NYC the next. That was all wonderful, but I missed 90% of the greatest tournament on earth. Soon I’ll focus on the Masters. Had the pleasure of attending a couple years ago, and now I more fully appreciate the grandeur of that part of the planet. WOW! TV does not convey the crazy topography.
