The new punter had one helluva college career...not sure why they hated Schmidt so much, though. He was a perfectly serviceable punter, and often got it inside the 20. Hope they know what they're doing with a guy who didn't make one punt in the pre-season.

And even though the J is silent in his name, his nickname just HAS to be "Bojo," right?

The CB signing could be very helpful....I have little confident in Davis or Gaines.

Davis looked pretty old and  slow out there

That was a really stupid thing for Bo to do and I think that it hurt his draft position. If you look at the video, the players all seemed to have a great time at the White House this year. His idiocy did not represent the team.

Because this is a passing league, the defenses are slowly getting smaller and faster. Imo, this increases the value of a big back. Remember how well Karlos performed on the Bills?

I want the Bills to get better blocking and a large tailback more than I want Bo specifically.

He is still a kid so I get it.  We've all done stupid things.  I know I did, but I had a lot less at stake.

Karlos' situation is worse in my mind because he was already on a team, and I think he would have had a chance to fight for the starting job by now if he hadn't of smoked, ate and instagrammed his way out of the league.

I couldn't help but notice that a fair number of the Bills' cuts have been signed to other team's practice rosters... Clay, Boettger, Redmond and Vallejo so far.  I guess that this could be an indication that we cut the wrong guys... but I would rather believe that the overall talent level is rising on this team... despite the fact that some media outlets are speculating that we might have the least talented roster in the league.  Anyway, I've got a lot of confidence in this management group's ability to acquire personnel.  Players like Croom, Neal, Murphy, Phillips, McCloud and Teller are virtually unknown outside Western New York (and Southern Ontario)... but I think that they're all future solid starters at the very least.  Discipline and teamwork are going to have to get the job done for the time being... but better days are coming.  Go Bills!

With Clay and Vallejo, it's likely they were picked up for their special teams contributions.  The Bills have had solid special teams so it doesn't surprise me that other teams have gone after our cuts in this area.  As to the O linemen, Dallas is looking for depth with all the injuries that they've had on their oline this preseason.  The Bills were hoping each of those guys would make it to their practice squad, but couldn't sneak them through.

This guy made some plays in the preseason.  Seemed to be around the ball quite a bit.

He was around the ball, but ran right past about 4 sacks, several of which he was unblocked.  He hasn't done much in 3 years. He had a nice INT for a TD in the 4th preseason game.

Had a nice pick six in week 4 against the Lions.

From what I'm reading about Orchard... it sure sounds a lot like what was being said about Jerry Hughes when we picked him up.  Guys that can get through to the quarterback fairly consistently are worth a lot in today's game.
