We don't run on the one yard line?

Thats what we got Benjamin for. The only reason people are complaining about the call is because of the offensive PI. He didn’t need to stiff arm him in the face.

Actually we didn't get KB to throw from inside the 1. We have the 6th best running team we can get a yard that way. We would of also ran some clock if we got stopped and it would of saved us the FG before the half perhaps.

Are you ready to apply the same logic to Jacksonville? Who did they draft with  the 4th overall pick last year? How many times did they run it from the 1 yard line? How did they score their touchdown?

It wasn't necessarily a terrible call -- KB is a jumpball specialist. They were flagged for OPI but if it was a run, they could've been called for Holding and you're in the same situation.

I think what frustrates me more is how little KB was targeted outside of that situation.

I agree with the OP. The one weakness that the Jags have is run defense. Run the ball from the one on first and goal.

In my opinion that is where we lost the game. On that 1st and goal series. We should have run the ball three times and if we are up 7-0, it would have been a totally different game.

Besides the OPI, the other problem with the KB endzone pass is the ball was in the wrong spot. You can blame that either on Tyrod being inaccurate, or Tyrod & KB not having enough time together to be on the same page. The call was a RPO, defense was anticipating run, and KB was in a one-on-one... you want your QB to take that chance, usually.

Haha, I was saying this during the game! Schopp did indeed echo my thoughts, though. I do tend to agree with him.

 Just like Jacksonville did against us. How did they score their touchdown?

Just because a team makes a td one way doesnt make it right.  Just stating if I make the calls I run the ball. That said KB should have caught the ball and shouldnt have stiff armed the db....how did I do?

I just dispise the freaking fade. I would have rather liked a slant. Allowing KB to use his big body to box out Ramsey

Terrible call, from a team with 0 Receiving weapons- NADA!

A terrible Draft Pick overeach for a Receiver who can't catch.

Dude on 1 leg;

Highly overpaid TE stiff who can't stay in bounds;

Undertalented white WRs from the Sunday Beer League.

you must, must run there- without question!

Wasn’t a fade though. It was a come back and KB pushed off, which he didn’t need to.

I know more people are pissed at Tyrod, but they should be just as upset with KB for pushing off.

Also Dennison should have just called a run there, save that play for 2nd or 3rd down.

Yeah, that's reasonable, and probably would have been the better call. On the other hand, a slant on the 1-yard-line is how Seattle lost the Super Bowl.

And look, all that said, I'm with the majority on this one -- I would've much preferred to see a run up the middle from Tolbert. Or why not put Kyle in again??
