"The Bills got punched in the face, manhandled on both lines of scrimmage for the second game in a row. The defense was woeful. Tyrod Taylor and the offense were over their heads. They lost their first home game of the season, getting repeatedly booed by the home fans at New Era Field."

Sullivan thrives after brutal losses. Misery is his canvas.

This was a good one. The 6-4 thing is interesting -- because beating the Chargers is one of two "should win" games left, the other being the Colts. And the Chargers have 0 fans, so they will be playing a home game, although it is a west coast trip so who knows. They could be flat and just done. I hope not, I'm going to the damn game. If the offense gets points early, then they could ruin the Chargers because Rivers will give you picks.

"They said the same thing after the Jets. It wasn't them. But who are the real Bills? When the defense gets trampled twice in a row, it qualifies as a trend, a mini-crisis. McDermott's calling card is defense. If it gets abused this badly, how seriously can you take them as a contender?

"It starts up front," McDermott said. "It starts up front, winning the line of scrimmage. That's where this game's won, up front, and we've got to do a better job of it."

McDermott threw out the usual coaching buzz words: Gap integrity, hand violence, technique, run fits. In laymen's terms, they got their butts kicked. The Saints ran the ball on 24 straight plays in one stretch."

Well duh!  We all saw this with our own eyes.

Secretly Sullivan has been licking his chops and waiting to write this article.

In fact he probably had the meat of it drafted for some time just needed to edit it and replace the Patriots with the Saints.

Regardless we are past the point of concern with this team and can't envision a scenario in which we win a game over the next 3 weeks unless a miracle happens. Not even sure Peterman can provide that miracle either at this point but sure would love to see him play.

Oh, he had that sucker waiting I'm sure.

He puts todays date on it and nobody knows it's the 6th time he put out the same article because it was on point the first 5 times, too.

I generally dislike him, but these are the times that call for these types of pieces.

No he already had this article written since 2008. Refreshed it in 2011 and refreshed it again.

It is very easy to write about the Buffalo Bills
