Where Buffalo has struggled though is the pass-rush and even more so, converting that pressure into a sack when they do get it. Buffalo is one of just three defenses who have converted fewer than 10 percent of their late down pressures into sacks as we enter Week 10. With two matchups against the Patriots following a Week 10 game against the Saints, the toughest late down passing attacks they’ll have to face this year still lie ahead. Imo Holmes has stepped up the last few weeks and I actually like the 3 taller guys in and Jones out. We have a real solid group of WRs. Get out there and make it work Tyrod. Head coach Sean McDermott felt Benjamin held up his end of trying to get up to speed this week. “He’s about where I thought he would be,” said McDermott. “He’s trying to get up to speed on everything and detail his work. Coming in during the middle of the season and transitioning from one system to another system is always a challenge. He’s done a good job to this point. We just have to continue of going through that process and refine it for him so he can play fast on Sunday.” Benjmain has spent extra time after practice getting reps with Tyrod Taylor. Taylor has also worked with him during special teams portions of practice on the second field to get their timing in sync. “He’s always been an on-time thrower,” said Benjamin of Taylor. “He’s going to do his drops, his feet are always set and he’s ready to throw. Also impressive is the fact that Brees and company have reeled off three consecutive road victories, including victories at Carolina and at Green Bay (who was minus Aaron Rodgers). On the other hand, the Buffalo Bills have to still be stinging after they got it handed to them in primetime by the New York Jets. Look for a bounce back effort from McDermott’s club.
