I'm not a subscriber to PFF but they have graded Ducasse much higher than Miller this season. Ducasse at 73.8 and Miller at 39.1. Maybe the coaches have the same grades.

Vlad's 'high quality' on both run and pass blocking???

That tells me all I need to know about PFF...

Or maybe Vlad is threatening to bite the coach?

Or perhaps Vlad already bit Castillo and Castillo is serving as Vlad's henchman?

He is a descendant of this guy:

Again, I didn't spend time watching him on every play but Joe B did. Miller is the worst player on the team so far according to him. Ducasse graded a C+ for the Bengals game.

By the looks of this, we should be replacing Preston Brown next season as well as adding 1 or 2 DTs. The rest of the D is performing great. Top 9 players are on D.

Offense needs lots. RG close to the top of the list. QB, WR,WR, WR, WR, WR as well as eventual replacements for shady, clay, Ritchie and wood. Good thing we have lots of picks.

How can we possibly accept these grades when he doesn't know what the players responsibility is on each play? What are his qualifications? Watching the Bills? Don't we have that covered? I don't want to be a hypocrite, I listen to Joe B for updates but I would not make personnel moves based on his grades or PFFs.

Umm, how can we possibly accept anything other than the coach's opinion then.

I assume he focused on every play, something few do. So Joe B would be a better source then anyone that didn't.

This is valid. But Joe B's low grade on Miller kind of matches up with PFF's low grade on Miller. Two very different sources presumably using different methodology came up with the same conclusion: Miller's not playing well. It's concerning.

That's about par for the course with PFF's judgement of OLers ... I think their algorithm for rating OLers has a few logic errors. They once rated All Pro Jason Peters as "the worst LT in the league" when he was a Bill. I guess that's why the Bills traded him to Philly where he's only made All Pro a couple more times despite a serious Achilles injury a few years ago.
