@mikerodak

Bills have also claimed LB Deon Lacey off waivers from the Dolphins and TE Khari Lee off waivers from Detroit, per @FieldYates.

Lacey former CFL player

Linebacker Deon Lacey, Edmonton Eskimos

2016 CFL stats: 87 tackles, three interceptions, one sack in 18 games

College: West Alabama

Lacey, 26, spent time in the Dallas Cowboys' training camp in 2013 before playing the past three seasons in Edmonton. He could be a good fit for an NFL team that needs to stock the special-teams end of its roster. He had six sacks in the 2015 season.

Karhi Lee

Strengths

Has very capable hands. Catches the ball away from his body and can adjust both high and low to go get it. Carries the seam route well. Will go over a defender to make the catch and retains his focus. Moved all over the field. Used traditionally, from slot, out of backfield and split out. Was effective from each spot. Good body control.

Weaknesses

Played a much lower level of competition and wasn't challenged by same level of speed and physicality. Technique as in-line blocker needs polish. Doesn't run his feet at contact as consistently as he should to sustain as a blocker. Average quickness off the snap into routes.

Draft Projection

Priority free agent

Larry Donnell

Bottom Line

Very good athlete whose background as a basketball player is obvious in his body control and positioning. Has good hands and is tough to bring down but will need time to develop against a higher level of competition, despite his potential to play in the league.

So you're saying Reilly didn't get claimed and become another teams #1?

the whole Reilly thread is one bit Freezing Cold Takes file, especially all the posts about the Pats just waiting to put him on their active roster despite the fact they didn't even have room to keep Austin Carr who actually played and performed well in their offense since May.

Unexpected move: The #Bills just cut RB Jonathan Williams, source said. Productive player, was slated to be their No. 2 RB at one point.

Gotta secure that role for Tolbert

Where are all the gloaters about trusting the process and McBeane?

Gerald Hodges cut!

Don't like either of these moves, not for the players they were replaced with off waivers, and Especially with someone like Vlad Ducasse still on the roster.

All I can say to everyone is Don't get attached to any players currently on the roster. This is going to be a full rebuild (which was most likely needed IMO)
