As much as I want him for depth, if he’s smart he’ll pick Bona or G’Town where he’ll actually get some minutes next year.  By all accounts, Sidibe will be healthy with Chukwu being the starter.  I think he goes Bona, honestly.

Not to mention SU just signed Braswell... who 247 have a 90+ grade on par with 4*s

Osun to Bona.  Battle to NBA draft.  Heard from a couple “sources” now.  FWIW

Your sources checked out.  Bonaland is very happy!

I wonder if Boeheim will play the Bonnies again.

Even a blind squirrel finds a but every once in a while.

Syracuse will keep Bona on their schedule.  They like to play at least one D-3 squad every year, and I hear SUNY Binghamton’s schedule is already filled.

I don't want Syracuse to ruin our SOS this year, anyway.

Oooooh, lighten up Phyllis.  We Cuse and Bona fans co-exist just fine around here.  Just some good-natured ball breaking.  It is, however, a Syracuse basketball thread.  Just sayin....

Is there some rule dictating that in order to start a thread about your team, they need to have name recognition beyond a 30 mile radius of the university?

Serious question.  Mods?

Girard III is entering his senior season at Glens Falls high school where he's already eclipsed the New York State boys high school basketball All-Time Leading Scorer record, averaging 50 points per game.

50 points per game?!?  Does he play against midgets?

It’s a two horse race between Cuse and Michigan.  I expect him to choose Michigan, unfortunately.

That's interesting that you think that Duke is out of the running, figured with what they have done with the reddicks, allens etc, he would be a perfect duke fit.  Maybe Boehiem can take Girard to all the local spots where Beilein committed all sorts of nefarious acts in the syracuse area to try and blackball michigan a little...  :-)

They should point out that Beilein interviewed with the Pistons so he may not even be there the whole time, one would hope anyway

Just what I’m hearing.  But I’ve been wrong plenty of times before.  With Duke there is the constant threat of being over-recruited (see Jordan Tucker).  With RJ Barrett and Tre Jones (both 5 star combo guards and top 15 recruits) coming in this year, and Josiah James and Bryan Antoine likely committing to Duke for 2019, there likely won’t be a lot of playing time to go around in Durham.  If he is smart he will pick Cuse or Michigan.

Boeheim's Army fell to the golden eagles (Marquette Alum) today to end their run in TBT.  SU always struggled against Marquette for whatever reason.

Atlanta -- A Travis Diener 3-point shot eliminated Boeheim's Army from The Basketball Tournament. Diener's 3 closed out the game, reaching the target score of 90. The final score was 90-86. The shot followed a familiar script for the Golden Eagles...
