This is pathetic. Poor Asian guy gets reassigned for really no logical reason.

You will be made to care.

How long before the demands mount for Washington, DC to change its name to Columbia, and the State of Washington's name to Olympia?

ESPN is making this up. He was assigned to other teams for the first 3 weeks and generally covered Midwestern small teams for his career. Why is he just all of the sudden jumping up to a big time D1 school?

The 506 is always 💯. And he was assigned to other games and still shows those games

Nobody would have noticed or cared in October. They created the flap on their own.

Still, the media schadenfreude is hilarious to watch

So when are they firing Bob Ley?

ESPN just released a statement saying they were aware of the concerns about Bob Ley’s potential continued employment. They do not want to be perceived as insensitive by not acting and yet they do not want to rush to action that could be seen as inappropriate. Furthermore, they see how this position of overarching reluctance could be interpreted by all parties as complicit in ways that might be interpreted as socially irresponsible. As a result, a new statue of Bob Ley will be erected today on the grounds of the ESPN headquarters in Bristol, CT. Then, this evening the statue will be promptly torn down by members of the last generation of Icelandic Down Syndrome survivors, in a grand gesture of celebration of the differences among people that may or may not be identified and/or objected to in accordance with the respective cultural climate which deems it however so, in the spirit of freedom!

I don't think they are making it up. They generally hate Conservatives and have embraced the Liberal point of view. That's why Curt aschilling is no longer employed there.....and hy they recently had to lay off hundreds. People are sick of ESPN.
