chaccof
As the the 10th anniversary of Kevin Everett's injury is coming up on Sept. 9th does anyone know if the Bills plan to do anything to commemorate it? I just picked up the book that was written about his recovery - at a garage sale for a buck - pretty interesting story. It was written by a writer from Philly which surprised me a bit. Curt
I see your point but I don't think that the Bills will commemorate a near fatal injury.
Roundybout
It sounds harsh but I don't think he was famous enough to warrent this. Its a nice story, but he is no Darryl Talley.
DDD
Someone from the Buffalo News did a piece on him a few years ago otherwise he's been aloof.

Overseas Bills Fan
I don't see it. I'd say let the man live privately. Remember, he almost died.

Cripple Creek
I see your point but I don't think that the Bills will commemorate a near fatal injury. I think you're right, it will get a mention, but that's about it. IF they did they would celebrate the quick response, treatment and recovery, not the injury. YoloinOhio
"Lead the charge" maybe for the home opener? Wait... will they even still do that?
Captain_Quint
"Lead the charge" maybe for the home opener? Wait... will they even still do that? Yes, but like the captains, it will be the same guy all year. This year is Elvis, next year its the chefs.
Beast
If anything, honor the medical staff. That would be a good idea.

dezertbill
It was a horrific injury that quick thinking limited the damage to his spine. I remember reading he's now into business and walking Based on his recover I definitely feel the Bills should do something to commemorate the day to celebrate his recovery 10 years later. Heavy Kevi
This doesn't get enough credit for the absolute unintentional hilarity of it. Especially since most people (myself included) would not recognize KE in street clothes.

LABILLBACKER
"Lead the charge" maybe for the home opener? Wait... will they even still do that? Not a terrible idea to invite him to home opener. Celebrate his life (not near death). Invite the doctors and field personnel who saved his life. He doesn't need to be a marquee player. He was a Bill! DriveFor1Outta5
This doesn't get enough credit for the absolute unintentional hilarity of it. I've never seen it. Finding it hard to believe it was unintentional though. Edited August 20, 2017 by DriveFor1Outta5
