Speaking of subs... Try and find a "Royal" sub outside the Northeast... BFLo... You think it would gain traction:

Roz's Pizzeria in S Cheektowaga/W.Seneca puts the best spin on a Royal sub w/their "Big Roz"

How hard is it to find an Italian sausage w/cappicola and assorted cold cuts outside the area... Simply non-existant to my knowledge.

On a similar note, they are opening a Primanti Bros. about 15 minutes from me tomorrow. People are already camping out because the first 100 people get free sandwiches for a year.

How far would you go for a free sandwich? I can say without reservation, camping out would not be involved....

Forget the sandwich, get a life.

A year of free sandwiches?

What's Primanti Brothers... Should I Google it?

Yes. JR can fill you in, but a deli/cafe that started in the market district in Pittsburgh. its a meal on a sandwich.

I'd do a lot for my wife, and she can eat the same damn thing day after day, after day, after day, after......... So 365 days of the same sandwich might appeal to her.

I'm so sick of cooking the same 3-4 things. I'd sleep on a sidewalk if I could get away from that rut, even just a little bit.

They say free sandwiches for a year but the fine print states a sandwich a week for a year....certainly not worth camping out for, unless your homeless, then it makes perfect sense.

....then, you're already there.

By my math, 52 is less than 365.

A real Philly-style hoagie. Roast beef, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle , sweet peppers, just a hint of oil and vinegar.

From this place: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/phil-and-jims-delicatessen-brookhaven

Here in NH, this bakery makes good sandwiches on their own breads: https://www.yelp.com/biz/bread-and-chocolate-concord

The bread is so very important!!!

It can't be a great sandwich without great bread.

I can honestly say I've never had a chicken parm sandwich. I'm not sure why...... It's not something I'd have often (if ever) as an entree, so maybe that's it.... (I'll almost never order chicken out.)

Same here; would never order it sitting down for dinner, but at a good Italian deli, a freshly baked cutlet with sauce/cheese on a toasted roll is the ultimate lunch.

I have a feeling exiled would love primanti's. Sandwich stacked high and filled with fries and Cole slaw!!

It's that same feeling you get when you discover poutine the first time

some may interpret that wrongly, hence... this clarification... fries, curd, gravy

clear enough?
