But I suspect if you're really a top prospect, you don't need to pay to get yours. If you're a smart top prospect, you may realize sanctions come with that behavior. They got off easy. Is there a "Hot for Louisville" thread yet? Many of these kids are minors. Jail time might be a real option if they really took it seriously. (I freely admit to being anti-Pitino and Louisville.) Players and fans still have their memories, and no one can take that away. The real story is that it was happening with players recruited not only against NCAA rules, but against the law. Providing sex for under aged people (5 star recruits or not) can land you in jail. (See the Hot For Teacher threads.) It's an unfair inticement, considered the same as paying for a car. While I'm not a Pitino fan, I'm glad he's there because my coach (Chris Mack at Xavier) had no interest in Indiana or OSU this off-season, but Louisville might be different for family reasons.
