Anyone else completely fed up with the Dareus hate?

I'm pretty sure it comes with the territory when you're the highest paid player on the team, you get suspended for the first four games, then you can't play due to muscle pulls...

I mean...How can it be a surprise that folks are pissed?... B-)

Someone has to say it: GET OVER IT YOU LOSERS!

Sure, his suspension was bad. Yes, it sucks he had an injury when he came back. Now he has a groin issue (which nobody has even said would keep him out of the Seattle game yet)...that also sucks. Not the best half a season of his career, that's for sure.

BUT HE IS BACK AND HE IS A GREAT PLAYER! Plus, he isn't going anywhere, no matter what. He's likely to be our best player over the course of the next 3 or 4 years.

Cut him a break. It's over. Can we show some of our guys some love when things are bad for a change? These are our guys, this our team for God's sake and as bad as things have been we're .500 with plenty of time chase the WC spot.

And...

While we're at it, lets give Gilmore break too. Don't get me wrong, this is not a hill I'm willing to die on but at minimum it's getting tired to hear the repeted blasting of Gilmore. He's had good and bad games so far this season, but he really hasn't had bad seasons for us ever. Who cares what goes on with his contract at the end of the year and if he leaves or not, or wants too much money...whatever. Lets watch football and quite killing our own on the boards so much.

We all gave him a break when he showed up 2 years ago out of shape and fresh off 2 arrests with a suspension coming up.

Then he does it again this year (if you think he spent the 4 week suspension working out and staying in shape, well God bless you)--gets himself suspended, the a few more weeks off....and you're all about giving him more breaks.

We can disagree with you because it's really OK to.

Get over this.

Another poor decision by the bills to gave Mr. Fatso that big contract. When he was a rookie Brayan Scott ask Dareus what kind of player he want to be. does he want to be a good ole boy from the country that made some money in the NFL, or does he want to be one of the best, a hall of fame player.. Dareus told him we will see. we have seen a selfish big kid who has gotten his money and have left this fan base and organization hanging. the bills have lost to three mediocre teams that a guy with his talent may have been the reason for us to win. He is the main reason for this team failure this season. The fans care more than this guy. so why in hell should anyone feel sorry for him. Show up and play to your ability.

Dareus brought it all on himself. To whom much is given, much is expected. He hasn't come close to living up to his contract. I'm not talking about his on-field play, which has been mediocre, but his off-field shenanigans which have been outrageous. Two suspensions, the second of which was followed by so many lies I couldn't keep track:

1. It was a missed test (It wasn't)

2. I'm going to rehab (he didn't)

3. I've really got ADHD, it's not an addiction, so I hung with Bruce in Virginia Beach for a month (whaaa??)

4. Only my actions matter (broken record, trots this out every time he gets caught)

When he comes back, he pulls his hamstring five days in to practice. This is not like LeShady pulling a hammy after going balls to the wall for 6 games, this is more like TC hammy because you haven't done the off-season work (spare me the "we don't have any proof" mantra, this guy's track record this year is one of avoiding the hard work). Unfortunately, Big Puff didn't have 5 more weeks to recover from the hammy like he would have in TC.

So our season is tottering on the brink when we desperately needed all hands on deck. He's deserved every bit of the hate that's coming his way.

The MR. Fatso is funny. You want a fatso, he is a fatso, and it's great.

Oh, it's fine, my only point is, without being overly worked up about it--this nonsense confirms a good portion of this board to be self-aggrandizing idiots. "I put in a hard days work every day." Dareus deserves to be cut. :w00t:

He's one of our best players and it's not even a huge pattern of being a problem (like Sammy for injury reasons). He got suspended. It is stupid and there is no excuse. It's over.

Just putting out the other point of view is all...maybe you guys should just let it go and appreciate that when Dareus is in the game (including last week) it is noticeable...in a good way. Maybe you shouldn't hate a guy that makes a big difference when playing, has played most his games, and will be on the team for many more years.

Ninkovich suspended 4 games. Just happened when he was injured. Lucky them.

Brady suspended 4 games. I'll let that one go though.

The Pats with a few guys playing but banged up were shut out by Rex at home just a few weeks ago. Brady and Bill are GOAT QB, Coach, and GM combined....but lets no pretend that their situation isn't unique. Without one the other is merely good and entirely beatable.

We need to be realistic and positive. It's hard enough to take pleasure in being a Bills fan. Lets not kill our own when it is to no end. Dareus is a great player, will be a Bills player for many years no matter what, and has never had 8 weeks like this in his life. He'll a big bright spot for us moving forward. Lets move on from the suspension...every time he bumps his funny bone we don't need to remember that he smoked pot or took adderall or missed a test or whatever he's bee doing.

When he does it again we can light the pitchforks. The last incident is over. Injuries happen, especially to guys not in game shape that are thrown into the fire and expected to dominate right away.

He's rich and he's black. What did you expect from a fan base that loves Frank Reich and Brian Moorman? He smokes pot. So what. Half the people on this board are ****-faced two hours before kickoff.

Sammy gets the same treatment. They are two of the top 5 guys on the team. Much of it is just misguided frustration and jealousy.

Yes Marcell has smoked away hundreds of thousands of dollars. But in relative terms, most on here have pissed away just as much at the Niagara Falls casino or on crap beer.

We are all jealous not to have been born with their talent. And to see them seemingly waste it is very frustrating. But again how many of us wasted opportunities in our twenties??? Our advantage is for most of us, our prime earning years are after the age of 35 hopefully when the mistakes are less common.

Yes, we are all racists. If we criticize Dareus we never criticize Trent Edwards or JP Losman. Oh, and Richie Incognito was always treated with respect and kind words.

Are you serving lunch at the soup kitchen tomorrow?

OMG what a strange and awful post.

Definition of a sh*t take.

When 19 of your 22 starters and all of your players at "key" positions are black.......when they aren't producing......... you are going to find people who are critical of players that happen to be black.

Good to know that people weren't critical of guys like Rob Johnson, Drew Bledsoe, Jerrys Crafts and Ostroski, Chris Kelsay, JP Losman, Trent Edwards.........universally loved because of their whiteness.
