aristocrat
http://www.cover1.net/2016/08/preseason-bills-vs-redskins-impressions/ The third preseason game for the Buffalo Bills left a lot to be desired. Most of the impressions were not good. The 90-degree heat and humidity definitely got the best of the players. Especially the Bills, a familiar storyline crept up and that is penalties. The Bills committed 13 penalties for 104 yards, more importantly, four of those resulted in first downs. For those who missed the game and just checked the box score the amount of penalties called on the Bills would catch your eye. But if you actually watched the game you would know that Ed Hochuli’s crew was horrendous. They called 23 penalties in all, for 211 yards, and yes that extended the game and tested the players mentally.

Johnny Hammersticks
Redskins starters vs Bills cuts. /story This can't be emphasized enough. How did Captain Kirk do against Buffalo's 1's & 2's? The penalties and other unforced errors, however, continue to be annoying.

Johnny Hammersticks
He didn't actually play against the ones... Adolphus Washington is the only solid 1st teamer I can think of. Zach Brown, Alexander, and Williams because of injury. But thanks for reinforcing my point, Beef.
yungmack
Can't be worried about the penalties because it seemed to me at least half of them were BS.

Love when he talks about how all of our routes had WRs standing still and the skins were always running lol.

Frum da En Ef El: "With the Bills (1-2) resting almost their entire starting defense, Cousins overcame a rough start to finish 12 of 23 for 188 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. Despite coming mostly against Buffalo's second- and third-stringers, it was an important recovery for Cousins, who had thrown only five passes in the preseason and didn't play last week in an effort to test backup Colt McCoy." This week, to better prepare Cousins for the regular season, the Redskins cancelled their week 4 preseason game. Instead they will face a team of all stars from the Prince George's County Pop Warner. thebandit27
Does this pre-season game factor into analytics to determining whether the Bills are still one of the best NFL teams going into the regular season? I know I consider Kirk Cousins starting out 3/11 for 30 yards against the team's 2nd stringers to be a serious indictment. I'm really worried about those 3rd stringers though, when they have to face starting offenses in the regular season, they'll be in real trouble...it's worrisome when the 3's give up 3 TDs to a starting offense.
