Part of the property was in the county we lived in and where my children attended school, the other in the neighboring county. As it turned out, the mailing address was the other county, and my children would have had to change schools had we moved. I spoke with administration, explained my situation, half-in the county half-out, right on a bus route, or I could drop my children off and pick them up. As I recall, there was a tax bill due on the property in the town where I live, so presumably there was a connection for my request. The school district relented and told me that for $11,000 per year, per child, they would work with me. As I have three children, the math all told would have been around $100,000 to make it all happen. I chose to pass on the house, though not before mentioning that I knew of two or three teachers in our district that lived in other counties but their children attended our school gratis. My point is that had I tried to beat the system, at $33,000 per year I’m thinking it could be a pretty big deal when caught. Then again, I wasn’t trafficking da hooch in addition to grifting the school district, so maybe they just drop a letter grade off the kids report card? 2

I'm pretty convinced it's only 10% of the country actively engaged in and cheering and supporting any of the insanity. It FEELS like more because Silicon Valley has made it so after 3 years of suppressing conservatives, cable news has become to adults what the adults once warned video games would become to kids, every single news entity is cheering it on or treating the stupid with kid gloves, and since almost all of us aren't at work, conducting our extracurricular activities, or participating in anything as normal like watching our kids play little league we have nothing else to do but subjugate ourselves to all of it. I never thought I'd become like them. But I have phased out a few friends I considered close because they are Democrats, supported lockdowns, and actively supported staying at home unconditionally without justification beyond anything we were told. They are on salary. They work for the Government. They essentially feel completely safe from the economic destruction. These are your teacher or state employee friends that changed their FB profile pics to include "safer at home." Deep down they think this will hurt Trump. I had one friend legit use the 40 million unemployed as a knock against him this was in late April I think. It was at that moment I came to this realization that they couldn't be looked at as an American let alone a serious person. They're dead to me. Yes. If you vote Democrat you are Un American in every way. I'm not telling you to vote Republican or Trump. Vote literally anything else. A write in candidate for all I care. They are now fully in control by some very evil people that have an ideology that is not conducive to the AMERICAN way of life. 2 2
