He'll certainly enjoy playing with Rivers much more than the factory of sadness QBs.

@AaronWilson_NFL

Chargers make it official, announce their two-year deal for Antonio Gates

Oh yeah, he will put up even better FF numbers this year playing with Rivers as his QB. :thumbsup:

League source confirms other folks that #Jaguars will be signing P Brad Nortman to four-year deal. #FREEAGENTFRENZY

@RapSheet

#Bears working to re-sign CB Tracy Porter, who was reborn in CHI. But w Jenkins off the board, OAK zeroed in on Smith, his market heating up

The #Texans remain the team to beat for Lamar Miller. The #Cowboys are in the mix for him, but not really at that price.

Olivier Vernon is headed to the Giants, source said

For Olivier Vernon and the #Giants, I'm told it's the biggest defensive end deal in history with the most guaranteed money

Olivier Vernon gets $85M over 5 years — WOW — with $52.5M in guarantees.

This is the perfect microcosm of why the NFL is not conducive to building teams through FAgency. It's a hard sell to guys on teams that have busted their asses, done everything right, and made sacrifices for themselves and teammates, to see guys who never shed one drop of sweat walk on to a team with a big money contract. Football is just so unique when it comes to team building.

Take care of your own and sign a guy or two to augment the process. The teams above are the reason why.

GO BILLS!!!
