Other players have chosen not to sign with teams off practice squads, why not him? It is a significant increase in pay to go to the active roster and he's not going to see that opportunity with the Bills anytime soon. If he gets hurt, he will be in a much better position on the active roster than a PS. Cierre Wood is an example. And it assumes the Bills really do want him to stick around. Other than he's Sammy's brother what reason is there the Bills would want to keep him other than anyone else on their practice squad. I highly doubt they would offer him more money than any other player on the PS unless they truly think that he was a steal getting him and giving him one year on the PS will turn him into an absolute 53 man roster player for them next season. Yes Matt Simms was one who they tried to sign as backup for trip to London but he is not only PS player who has rejected signing up for 53 man roster of a team.
