Does anyone supporting the Patriots or poo-pooing this stuff as just jealousy ever stop for a moment to think of the odds of this kind of thing happening to the opponents but never the Patriots themselves? Have the Patriots ever complained the oppositions radio broadcasts came into their headsets or the headsets went out in an important drive of theirs? What an amazing coinkidink!

I sincerely hope that Belichick has to endure an entire half of listening to Schopp & Bulldog.

Sorry, the Patriots destroyed those headsets. Standard procedure after every game. You also aren't allowed to speak with any players, coaches or employees, or enter the stadium. Otherwise the Patriots will fully cooperate.

Belichick does say they were having some problems with their headsets, too, last night. But not the Patriots radio broadcasts going into their helmets for a long time. I'm really talking about the convenience factor of the times it goes out. Like most of the earlier accusations and last night what the Steelers allege, that when the NFL checked it worked fine and as soon as they walked away it started messing up again. Hard to tell the veracity of that claim, although it's on the Steelers official webpage.

Why bother investigating? Just fine them for having non working equipment. What is there to investigate?

They are compulsive cheaters but aren't ever going to caught with anything more than circumstantial evidence until some day the lackeys who executed the cheating start owning up.

May as well just hammer them with black and white rules. The headsets you are responsible didn't work. We are fining you. Fix them. Same goes for everyone else.

Belichick: "We did cheat, unless cheating was wrong, then we didn't cheat. No, wait...I just misunderstood the rule. I didn't think it was cheating" haha

Does it does it specifically say anywhere that you cannot pipe the Pats radio broadcast into the opponents headsets? Technicality, they just didn't know.

During the Patriots radio broadcasts that the Steelers were getting there was an inordinate amount of commercials for Jenny Craig. So maybe this all really is about losing weight.

While the NFL is confident any issue with the sideline communications in last night game between the Steelers and Patriots was a random anomaly, we will look into the matter to confirm that both teams followed correct league procedure.

Remain calm. All is well.
