YoloinOhio
I think it would be depth. He's an older player, did ok last year with jets.

Canadian Bills Fan
I'd rather use that money and re-sign Spikes CBF

Dorkington
Wonder if we're looking at the draft for LB depth then.
DrDawkinstein
Better Dewan than LeRon. As much as I would rather have Spikes too, I trust in Whaley to find LB depth in the draft (especially after pulling Alonso and Brown out of the 2nd and 3rd rounds). Based on recent experience, it would seem it's easier for LBs to make a quick transition to the NFL than it is for DBs.

thebandit27
What a great depth signing this would be--a veteran guy that knows the system to play behind Duke and Aaron and mentor Bacarri Rambo.

BillsGuyInMalta
Wouldn't be surprised to hear both Landry and Spikes sign by Friday. From sources deep within.
C.Biscuit97
What do vet depth players usually do for you? Lol Haha true. It's what free agency should be. I just hope they don't play on him starting. It's like when Jim Leonhard kept starting for teams. I'd rather have a young guy.

John from Riverside
So funny in years past this would be considered one of the top players we were bringing in Lets keep in mind that Rex Ryan's defenses predicate a LOT to having strong secondary. This is the main reason Id be on board with this signing over, say, Spikes. Need lots of safeties.
