Would you trade a 5th for Josh Gordon?

uhh....ok?

Then why does it matter if you are using your 5th to acquire a WR? Just because you don't have a QB doesn't mean that you shouldn't use other resources to improve the talent on the roster. Maybe that isn't the argument that you are making but there has been a lot of "if you don't have a QB it doesn't matter" people on here. I agree that QB is the most important but if a particular pick isn't going to net you a QB anyways make the team better elsewhere. The team shouldn't just throw up their hands and say "don't get ____ player because Orton is the QB."

Rotoworld has him under contract for 2016. Sportrac doesn't. They both are usually accurate but make some mistakes. Seems to be a little discrepancy over whether the suspension for the whole season makes 2016 his last year or is it still 2015. Be interesting to see. Maybe it's only one year left.

it depends on whether they paid him for this week during the suspension. Team sources say he was not paid, which means he won't be eligible to be a UFA. He is a RFA. Next year.

He was suspended for the team's final game, so he ended up only playing five games this year. He needed to play at least six games to have accrued a season toward free agency.

Which would leave him an RFA. It counts as a contract year but not an accrued season
