Some may question if they were actually awake during the game.

They should have slept overnight the week before, when they were designing the game plan for KC.

Don't confuse effort with results, Marrone and Hackett.

Their wives said..."no, you don't come home after that..."

Winner!

i imagine doug whaley silently downloading porn in his darkened office while next door doug marrone whiteboards ways to get lee smith involved on the defensive side of the ball.

You. You're a Bad Man. A Bad, Bad, Man. (I need a spluttering coffee all over the keyboard emoticon)

Lets see how they respond Thursday before we completely trash the roster. There's talent on the team and some great finds in other people's trash. Hughes and Hogan are shaping up great. Bryce Brown looked good on Sunday if you take away the fumble. I know he has a history of losing the ball but there's lots of great RBs that had their fumbling issues coached out of them. AP and Tiki Barber are just two examples. There's been a lot of years of head scratching for me with some of the moves but I really like how this team is being built. I just feel sorry for #22 and #95 for the crap coaching, rosters, organization etc that has wasted their contributions. I am expecting this team to respond with pride against a Miami team that angry for the loss to Detroit and wants to get revenge on the whupping we gave them week 2.

Bills win 27-20

I don't see how anyone can really blame the coaches for this loss, when the team was moving the ball pretty well all day and just couldn't execute when they needed to, and the defense for the most part played lights out football. They kept a very real playoff contender with an all pro receiver and RB out of sync all day. they only scored 17 actual points, and the Bills should have realistically put up 24 to 27 if they executed better.

I liked the 4th down red zone call, I didn't like the stupid draw offsides 4th down call though, but again, if these plays work, nobody would be a critic, we would be praising them for being so gutsy, just like everyone did against the vikings. I'd love to see a lot less over-reaction around here than there is, I'd like to think we're better than that, and I have had the opportunity to see less evolved fans in other cities, like where I currently live.

If there were less stupid soul crushing fumbles and we had a pro bowl QB, Marrone and Hackett would be seen much differently.

Homey's not clowning. I lived in DC for a few years. Those fans got on and off the bandwagon sooo many times each season. Worst fans ever.

Lets stay the course, let see how our guys respond the rest of the way.

I don't think anyone can rightfully trash the roster other than pining for a better option at QB which is fair. After that Marrone and company have been given the most talented Bills roster in a looooooooooong time and they simply can't make it work. The defensive coaches have certainly done their part. 12 win talent. 2 win coaching staff.

How can you say 12 win talent. I think we're all pining for a better option for QB but that's who we have. How many teams are searching for that guy, there's just not enough of them out there. With out a quality QB and backup there are no 12 win teams. Look at what the $100M guy did in Cinci last week.

Word has it Hackett got a-scared and his Mommy had to come pick him up at 11:30.

Ha!

Seriously though, who cares and why do we know this? Why was it 'leaked'. If it is normal for coaches on a short week to sleep at the team complex, then why make it a story?

It smells of someone at OBD trying to say we are working hard to correct the problems...The major problem can not be corrected by the group of people trying to do it...they are the problem.

I think they should sleep there all offseason.

One would think that would be in violation of their eviction notice.

And Brian Hoyer beat him senseless. And Drew Stanton and Carson Palmer have combined for the best record in the league. And Mark Sanchez is 1-0. And Trent Dilfer won the Super Bowl.

I don't think anyone would argue that our defense is extremely good. Add to that Watkins, CJ, Freddy, and Mike Williams and we have known established weapons on offense. That should be enough to mask some weakness at QB. Instead we get Marrone's pettiness benching Williams ---after he already dumped Stevie --- lack of proper use of Goodwin, "about right" usage of Chandler, fascination with the substandard Brad Lamb, marginal use of Woods and regression of the OL.

Like I said. 12 win talent.

I agree but at some point I have to stop piling on Marrone. I'm sure he is a good guy and a family man. I wish him no harm and he has made some decent money. He is simply not an NFL caliber head coach at all, they need to jettison him at season's end and get someone real in here. It is what it is, and it isn't something that should develop into personal animus. That is hard sometimes watching games which should be won but are lost AGAIN due to coaching, but it really shouldn't he hateful or personal. I have no doubt that he is a hard worker, just not a smart worker.

This team's talent is at the level where they should easily make the playoffs and perhaps go far. But we won't/ I won't take any pleasure in the Marrone firing....I had hoped he'd be the coach we were waiting for.....but to keep him beyond 2014 just makes the roster a year older, more jaded, looking for the door and portends yet another rebuild. No thanks. Let's win with this group.
