He is playing on the NY Giants, and perhaps they have an offense that works. and he is lighting it up against players who probably won't ever see a start in the NFL, 3rd stringers Would he be worse? I'd keep the rest of the FO, but at this point I think a Power Ball ticket may pay off better than a bet on Marrone. (And I tend to like the guy.) Having said that, with a competent head coach (and OC) and a decent QB, a 12 win team is a real possibility. Coaches are easier to find than QB's. This team is not ready on offense I felt this at the time of the draft. Giving up so much for a WR with a second year QB who hadn't played enough was stupid then and it looks stupid now.
