It's a good move in the sense it's a one year rental. But it's a desperate move and they needed to spread some of that money around on the whole defense (which has been terrible) and targets for Brady (who has none). I'm glad they did this. They had to atone for not ponying up the cash for Talib. Remember how putrid their secondary looked against Denver in the playoffs when Talib got hurt? Couldn't blitz, couldn't cover, disaster.
