Fitz has more balls than anyone on the defense

Only 2 teams allow over 30pts a game. 30 other qb's don't have to overcome that. "it's that simple"

Great point. Biggiescoobie is immune to such points, though.

Yeah those pussies that helped the Bills throw for 320, rush for 160, and gave up a whopping 3 sacks in the Pats house should be torched! C'mon mob lets go!!!!!!......gimme a fuggin break

You missed his point.

well done sir,

That a great point. 31 points on the road is a good days work. Fitz is in a tough spot. He has to overcome the loss of Nelson, bad playcalling(under use of CJ) and a defense that cant stop Brady ever.

Wow i thought Bledsoe holds like a bunch of passing records for the team , OK so he didn't get to the playoffs but you got to give credit when it's due ..

Absolutely NOT. The 1st 8 games of 2002 do not make up for 2-1/2 seasons of garbage. Fitz isn't brain-dead, Fitz isn't a statue, and Fitz isn't a cancer.

I Don't Care if Shitzpatrick has Balls as Big as Basketballs HE CAN'T FINISH

not finishing 2 of the last three is proof. TWO very winnable games lost by a back up.

A QB that will never even come close to .500 ball when he hangs them up.

But, he's a nice guy and tries his best. For the Bills he's as good as it gets this century.

And deserving of all the praise his remaining homers give him.

How can anyone watch this team year after year and insist there isn't a lot of problems. Why always is there this expectation that there is one "biggest" problem which if resolved would turn the franchise around. It's the QB AND the defense. It's not just having a sub par qb with no touch, no deep ball arm that has to do an MLB wind up for every throw, an underacheiving front Four, one underwhelming first round pick after another, it's chan running empty backfield and pistol/spread/wildcat nonsense. It's Mckelvin not able to track a ball in the air, it's Aaron Williams having the worst passer rating against stat in the leage, it's Barnett covering welker over and over, it's getting gashed on the ground in hybrid safety linebacker Nickle D,

It's keeping a bunch of "specialists" on the roster only to cut them, it it Ralph's fault? Well he is THE only common ingredient with the 4 year Super Bowl bills...

Do you think the offense would put up more points with a rookie QB?

Absolutely possible. Have you watched luck?

I finally got to see the Fitz INT on TV. At the stadium it was hard to see who was open and I heard all this stuff about Spiller and SJ being open on that play. But seeing the replay Spiller was open, but he did not have a clean path to the end zone or even the first down. SJ and DJ were sort of open but each would have needed a perfect throw over defenders, the kind Fitz has not had much luck hitting. The best option would have been throwing the ball away.

Yep, and he has quite a few less TD's than Fitzpatrick. Granted he is a rookie.

The teams that drafted Wilson, Tannehill, Luck and Robert Griffin had Matt Moore, Tarvaris Jackson, Curtis Painter and Rex Grossman as their QB's. Each of them had less TD's total last year than Fitz has currently in 10 games..

I have this conversation with friends and family consistantly.

I understand that we need and want a franchise QB, we crave it to have our own Brees, Manning, or RG3. Most people believe drafting a rookie qb first overall will transform this team. That it will give the team the "energy" to win games. It's a bunch of BS. Our biggest need right now is on defense, coaching, players whatever you think it is but it is simply defense. Changing our QB situation will not win us more games, because we score the points required to win. Our defense does not prevent the number of points required to win. We will never be good with a 30pts allowed a game defense.

I do agree we need to draft a QB, we should have drafted one in this past draft. Let's go out and pick up a QB in the draft next year, but please oh please don't demand him to start next year! Give him time to develop and let Fitz do his thing under a hopefully improved defense next year.

Give Fitz a break. Damn.

I read this site without posting, just skimming what people are saying, and this time I had to say something.

I'm god dam fed up with the Fitz haters. Which player told the Patriots to f-off today? Which guy kept coming? The only defender with any heart is Kyle Williams. Graham ran the wrong dam route. This defense is historically bad. There is no QB on this team better than Fitz.

Go ahead and waste a high draft pick on a QB and piss away any chance of making the playoffs next year.

This team needs an entire new defensive coaching staff and three LB's. It's obvious.

You want Spiller to run the ball more then get the offense the ball back. Make a play on third down. Cause a turnover. Catch the dam tipped ball for a pick-six.

Fitz is the Savior, sure OK keep

As others have said, I like Fitz and want him to succeed. However, he just doesn't have what it takes. That said, everyone else is right about the issues with the woefully under-performing defense and the poor play calling. Seems to me there are four people to blame (excluding Ralph because we're stuck with him so bitching about about the pathetic organization that he allows to exist won't do any good). The easy and most transparent scapegoats: Fitz, Chan, Wanny and Nix. Gonna see if I can figure out how to start a poll (to see who everyone thinks is the most responsible for our losing season).

Is isn't all Fitz, he had a decent game.....that said, there is some credence in thethought that it is at least some of Fitz's fault. There was very crappy D .... the team in general getting hit by numerous bad ref calls and just bad play in the 1st half. They showed some spunk in this game, the 2nd half was for the first time in a very long one ....what, kind of well adjusted... so it was a bit encouraging.. I want a franchise QB too, hope they really can draft one. I will give him, whoever he is some time to develop, Fitz would be a decent back up (and mentor).

Wanny and Gailey still call head scratchers, I will never think they are good enough coaches as long as they do that.

I have to think the team is losing any faith with some of these calls.

A disappointing and tough loss. Two weeks counting they should have had it. That does show some (but too little) improvement, the lack of discipline is really hard to take though.

Fitz is not the problem on the team - far from it; Fitz is merely the scapegoat for fed-up fans. When the problems of a franchise are too great to count, the easiest solution for fans is to point the finger at the QB.

Is there anyone who is saying that Fitz is "the" problem on the team........or that getting a better QB will solve all of the teams problems?

Unfortunately, Fitz is one of the worse QBs in the league. I don't want him to be as he is smart, tough and has many qualities that I admire.....but that doesn't change the fact that there possibly wouldn't be one team in the league that would prefer him to their own starting QB.

In a league where SBs are typically won by good to great QBs, not having one means that no matter how much better the rest of the team and coaching gets, the chances that we win a SB are minute.

Sorry, the guy is the polar opposite of clutch. He blows in crunch time. There's no defense for how bad he sucks.

Haha you got everything wrong exept for NO DEFENSE. Can't win when you give up 30-50 pts a game dickweed. Find another site to hate on. I'm sick of everyone on this site claiming to be bills fans but have no clue what they are talking about.

Nah, I think you missed the point pal!!!!!!!

This.

The people who support Fitz, think the defense is the only problem. The people who don't support agree that there isn't just one problem, but many problems and Fitz is one of them.

Yes, I think every fan can agree that Fitz played a good game yesterday but that does not absolve him from how he's played all year. It's like the Fitz supporters are like "see, I told you so." Yet, just last week, Fitz couldn't do anything at all. And in the game against SF, couldn't do anything at all. He puts his WR's in terrible positions by not being accurate.

Again, I don't think anyone is saying it's just Fitz, it's a combination of Fitz AND the defense.

Again, just like you aren't saying it is just Fitz, we aren't saying it is just the defense. Most people acknowledge that Fitz is not a franchise QB for us, however he is not the cause of the Bills being 3-6, nor is he the leading factor. So it is quite frustrating when all I hear from friends and family is that we need a new QB as if it will transform the team. Not only that but they insist we draft a rookie and throw him into the fire. I am saying, YES let's draft a QB however let's do it right for once. Fitz is suitable for the time being.

As for the "told you so", you all do the same everytime he makes a mistake. You know how many texts I got at the end of that game complaining about Fitz because he threw that pick? People ignore the fact that the defense failed to stop the Patriots from scoring 7 out of 9 drives.

we NEED a defense.

Sure, we would like to get an elite qb. There are only a few teams in the NFL that could say that they don't have to worry about getting one at this time..

The fact is this team went out and tried to build a strong defense because we only have an average->good qb. That has failed. Now everyone is complaining because our QB, who we all knew was not elite like brees, brady, peyton, can't throw for 400 yards a game and 5 TDs to support our very very bad defense.

it doesnt make sense to complain about the qb when there are MUCH larger problems. It's like worrying about making a race car faster when the brakes don't work.

PDaddy! How've you been? I think I'd like my $60 million man to make a play when given the chance to win a game. He didn't. He choked. Again.
