meazza
Brodeur has been yanked in favor of Luongo  No disrespect for Marty. Regardless, he has his medal. Time for the hometown boy to take the gold.
CodeMonkey
9 TV timeouts at 3 minutes each is an extra half hour. I just googled and they are apparently 2 minutes long. So 18 minutes. So for a 2.5 hour game that's what, 12%. It's a great time to hit the head at the arena
Red
You know what really made me happy besides Miller helping USA win? Â It was seeing Drury be the first one to celebrate with Miller AND THE WAY THEY CELEBRATED WITH EACH OTHER once the buzzer sounded, that was really special. Â Despite all of the contract stuff, I miss Drury on the Sabres.
KD in CA
It's a great time to hit the head at the arena  You gotta make that move with 20 seconds left in the period.
CodeMonkey
You gotta make that move with 20 seconds left in the period. I can usually make it back by the end of the TV timeout. Besides how many goals have been scored in the last 20 seconds!!

It's a great time to hit the head at the arena  You're right, it is not significant. I can't believe that NFL fans ever would criticize the amount of commercial break time in any other sport, much less NHL hockey.  Plus, the lack of commercials makes little difference in the length of an Olympic hockey game. They still take the breaks to clear the ice at least twice per period.

stuckincincy
...and Ice Dancing   Ice dancing is tough - they still require that the participants do the school compulsories, and have that short program where the a accuracy of the arcs carved on the ice enter into qualification and advancement.
