  1. The media wins…double. Not only do the pundits that picked Jets to win, win. They get to trash on Allen all week. Here’s to Jets - Miami - hell even New England takes coming in HOT this week. God speed and turn off espn.
  2. Professional athletes are not only known for their skills and performance on the field but also for their off-field activities and interests. One player who has garnered attention in recent years is Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. While Allen's talent and potential are undeniable, some critics argue that he seems more interested in the Bills' social media jokes and skits than focusing solely on his performance. In this article, we will explore this perspective and delve into the potential impact of Allen's off-field interests on his dedication to the game. 1. The Rise of Social Media in Sports: In the digital age, social media has become an integral part of the sports industry. Athletes use platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok to entertain and connect with fans. However, there is a fine line between engaging with fans and getting too caught up in the world of social media. Critics argue that Allen's excessive involvement in the Bills' social media content suggests misplaced priorities. 2. The Influence of Social Media Culture: The current social media landscape is filled with memes, jokes, and skits that often go viral. Many professional sports teams have embraced this trend, including the Buffalo Bills. While these online antics can be entertaining for fans, some argue that Allen's active participation in these activities raises questions about his commitment to the game. Critics suggest that spending excessive time on social media may divert his attention from training, preparation, and improving his skills. 3. Balancing Entertainment and Performance: Defenders of Allen argue that his participation in social media activities is merely a reflection of his personality and desire to connect with fans. They argue that his presence on social media platforms allows him to engage with a broader audience and generate excitement around the team. Moreover, they contend that Allen's performance on the field speaks for itself, as he has demonstrated growth and improvement throughout his career. 4. The Importance of Focus and Commitment: In professional sports, success often depends on an athlete's ability to maintain focus and commit to their craft. Critics argue that Allen's apparent fascination with social media jokes and skits may hinder his ability to fully dedicate himself to the game. They suggest that this distraction could impact his concentration, decision-making, and overall performance. 5. The Counterargument: Embracing the Modern Athlete: On the other hand, supporters of Allen argue that his engagement with social media reflects the modern athlete's reality. They contend that the ability to adapt to new media platforms and connect with fans is crucial in today's sports landscape. They argue that Allen's ability to balance entertainment and performance demonstrates his maturity and professionalism. While it is important to analyze an athlete's commitment and focus, it is essential to consider the broader context in which they operate. Josh Allen's active participation in the Buffalo Bills' social media content might raise questions about his priorities, but it also reflects the evolving nature of sports and the importance of engaging with fans. Ultimately, Allen's on-field performance and dedication to the game should be the primary indicators of his commitment, and it is up to him to strike the right balance between entertainment and performance.
  3. I think nfl fans and media want another Rams/Cheifs mnf game from a few years back. If you can't remember the game, it ended with the rams winning 54-51. 105 points total! Crazy. When it comes to the Bills and Cheifs this Sunday though, I wouldn't be terribly shocked if this game ended up with a final score of 20-17. Both teams are aware of each other's high powered offenses and I think defensively, both teams are gonna throw everything at each other that they can. I think this is where the bills have an advantage. I believe the bills secondary is better than the cheifs. If our corners can hold their own, I think we can pull this one out. Wouldn't be surprised one bit though if this game turns out to be a defensive slug fest
  4. I sometimes wonder how we got the best QB in the 2018 draft and he just happens to fit Buffalo so well
  5. Let the rumors start that he's going back to baseball. https://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/nfl/cardinals/2022/02/07/kyler-murray-unfollows-cardinals-social-media-scrubs-photos/6689468001/

  8. Power Rankings Week 4 - Main Stream Media Pete Prisco and CBS said WHAT?? https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-week-4-power-rankings-bills-are-climbing-as-date-with-top-ranked-patriots-looms/ 6. Buffalo Bills | Last Week’s Rank: 10 Sean McDermott for coach of the year? A win this week against the Patriots and he will be the Coach of the Year at the quarter mark. NFL http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001058649/printable/nfl-power-rankings-week-4-bills-49ers-hit-top-10-eagles-dive RANK 6 BILLS (3-0) Previous rank: No. 12 Dawson Knox, have a day. With the Bills down three late in the fourth quarter, Buffalo's rookie tight end hauled in aJosh Allen pass and morphed into an evolutionary Gronk. His 49-yard catch-and-run sent New Era Stadium into a frenzy and set up the Bills' go-ahead touchdown. The seven-play, 78-yard drive was a minor masterpiece by theBills, and provided the latest evidence that Allen has taken the next step as a quarterback in Year 2. Buffalo had coughed up a 14-0 lead in this game, and a loss would have undone much of the progress of the season's first two weeks. But Allen -- with a huge helping hand from his Baby Gronk -- wouldn't allow that to happen. The Bills are 3-0 and welcome the 3-0 Patriots to their house on Sunday. This is the biggest Bills game in a long time. Circle them wagons! WaPo https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2019/09/24/nfl-power-rankings-week-cowboys-packers-are-heels-rams-nfc-supremacy/ 9. Buffalo Bills (3-0) | Last Week’s Rank: 10 The Patriots come to town this weekend. That will either provide a sobering reality check for the Bills and their fans or the ultimate boost to their confidence in a rebuilding program that is on fast-forward ESPN https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/27678541/week-4-nfl-power-rankings-1-32-poll-plus-got-wrong-preseason 12. Buffalo Bills (3-0) Week 3 ranking: 15 What we got wrong: That Tommy Sweeney was the Bills' best option at tight end. Not a knock against Sweeney, who was still a steal in the seventh round, but Dawson Knox has flashed Travis Kelce-like ability -- and the Bills are using him that way. After missing most of training camp and the preseason with a hamstring injury, Knox has emerged as arguably Josh Allen's favorite scramble-drill target. -- Marcel Louis-Jacques USA Today https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2019/09/24/week-3-nfl-power-rankings-cowboys-patriots-chiefs-49-ers-rams/2425517001/ 12. Bills (10): Last time they were 3-0 was 2011 ... which, coincidentally, was last time they beat New England when Tom Brady played four quarters. Game on.
  9. Only one Buffalo Bill. Not Ed Oliver. Dawson Knox, at #13. Knox deserves it, but Oliver should be on the list, IMO. And I have a feeling Singletary would be there but for the injury.
  10. I think we should have a thread for the sole purpose to keep everyone informed that rioting is still going on. This happened last night in a suburb of Milwaukee called Wauwtosa. BLM rioters were breaking windows and destroying property on citizens house and land.
  11. Thought this deserved its own thread. Bills Media team really upping its game this year Twitter wins: And of course, this pregame: https://www.buffalobills.com/video/coming-soon-bills-vs-raiders Combine that with a winning season and it's 🥇for them, too. Shout out!
  12. When you got top notch pulitzer reporting like this to deflect for their guy: Watch: Rudy Giuliani quotes ‘My Cousin Vinny’ and hair dye runs down his face during bizarre press conference https://www.yahoo.com/finance/m/05ee05bc-6e73-3474-84f1-91d139ba188c/watch-rudy-giuliani-quotes.html After pissing and moaning for 4 years about election cheating, now it's shut up or it's concentration camps for you !?! Hilarious.
  13. French President Emanuel Macron slammed the U.S. mainstream media in an interview with The New York Times for “legitimizing” violence, saying that it was a sign that the nation’s “founding principles have been lost.” Macron’s interview comes after France was rocked multiple times last month with Islamic terrorist attacks that started with a teacher who was beheaded for showing cartoons mocking the Prophet Mohammed. “When France was attacked five years ago, every nation in the world supported us,” Macron said, referring to the November 2015 Islamic terrorist attacks that resulted in the deaths of well over 100 people in Paris. “So when I see, in that context, several newspapers which I believe are from countries that share our values — journalists who write in a country that is the heir to the Enlightenment and the French Revolution — when I see them legitimizing this violence, and saying that the heart of the problem is that France is racist and Islamophobic, then I say the founding principles have been lost.” https://www.dailywire.com/news/french-president-emanuel-macron-slams-u-s-mainstream-media-legitimizing-violence You nailed it Sir. The heirs to Western Civilization and our values (that they continue to mock let alone understand them) are under siege by the very people claiming that Trump is the threat to democracy. The modern left have become the heirs to Nazi Germany and Mao's China.
  14. The idea that a corporation and/or news organization would have any sort of intentional political agenda that did not directly correlate to their bottom line has always been absurd at face value. The "media" is just a company like any other and they have a product that they sell in which they wish to get the maximum return for the minimum investment possible. They don't care whether their employees, partners, or customers are fascists or anarchists - only that it serves to generate them money. Certain brands, like Fox and MSNBC have carved out partisan ecosystems for themselves, but that's more a function of market niche in pursuit of the aforementioned financial returns, than any stoic principle they'll proudly stand for in the face of economic demise. In spite of all of that, those on the extreme right have continued to demand that media, big tech, and whatever corporation features a gay couple in a commercial is somehow a liberal institution instead of one that just understands how to maximize returns. They do this, while accused liberally biased companies like Facebook, pull shenanigans like this: "Mark Zuckerberg said banning Steve Bannon from the platform for advocating for the beheading of Dr. Anthony Fauci and FBI director Christopher Wray is 'not what our policies would suggest'" https://www.yahoo.com/news/mark-zuckerberg-said-banning-steve-172706111.html Zuckerberg, one of the world's richest people, is not anything remotely resembling the kind of "liberal" the right has defined in recent years. He may actually be a "neo-liberal" by definition, but then again so are most of the GOP who support corporatism, either openly or behind closed doors. This idea of "liberal" media is a nice 2 for 1 that tries to vaguely define political enemies in an Animal Farm type structure along with something even more insidious. Anyone that's ever spent time around their racist uncles can remember when The Liberal Media used to run by a different anti-Semitic moniker. Replacing it with the world "liberal" gets the same point across while being a little more socially acceptable at kids birthday parties and holidays. Much the same can be said for the whole George Soros fascination from the right. They can do all of this with a straight face because Fox News & the church told them they should feign support for a corrupt war criminal in Netanyahu and that means that they aren't bigots. Bravo! It's high time we started putting meaning back in words, because as Inigo Montoya would say:
  15. A little thing my family and I caught last night on YouTube.
  16. They downplay the loss of Tom Brady. They talk about the Patriots as if Brady was never there. Watching GMF now and they have Scott Pioli there......he thinks the players opting out is what held them back this season and feels that a good draft and getting those players back will help the Patriots make another Super Bowl run. After watching the Pats this season it's clear that Brady the bigger part of their success. Not once have I seen someone in the media admit that the loss of Brady was huge for the Pats instead they seem to have felt the Pats were going to continue the Patriot way regardless if #12 was there. I'm thinking it'll take next year when they go 9-7 at best before it really starts to sink in.
  17. I know Rotowworld did as well as Jane Slater of the NFL Network but the media I’ve seen today seemed to be pretty much in Buffalos corner I mean Adam Schein really let Antonio Brown have it on his radio show today
