  1. Ok I finally gotta jump in. First: **** arron rogers. Second: it's not for any fan or fan base to uphold your morals or belief in how they should or should not act. Third: it's a damned BUFFALO BILLS MESSAGE BOARD! Bills fans aren't storming New Jersey screaming injury wishes on Rogers. They are posting their feelings on the subject on a Bills message board. That's what it's here for. Fourth: Disalusioned in regards for the same group you signed up for? Seriously? How long have you been a Bills fan? How long a fan of football and even a member of the human race? Fifth: Paragraphs are a thing. And lastly: **** Aaron Rogers AND Travis Kelce. Both are douchebags, and multi millionaires. So if they both blow out body parts and can't get millions to play anymore, many of us don't give a damn.
  2. My son will get through undergrad school debt free for sure because of the work of me and my wife. My brothers daughter will also be going to FSU without much debt because he is divorced, his wife is primary caregiver, and she does not own the house she lives in, and makes less money. Niece has been offered pell grants and subsidized loans because of her parents situation and my son was not offered a dime in subsidized loans because apparently two teachers are better off than two parents who combine for $250k a year. Our college finance system gives preference to the parents who do all that crap you mention and it kills me because my choice is either front him the money or pay interest and the pressure to perform is not there as I would like. The current system is garbage and intentionally bad.
  3. That’s not pipsqueaking into the convo, Mup, that’s some pure straight razor to the face of your old pal Leo. I’m torn between concern over my boyish good looks and the recognition that a well placed scar on my mug might actually improve upon the blessings my God has bestowed upon me. Now, to your hurtful commentary. I don’t view DJT as a victim, I see him as a target. There is a difference. The jury may or may not reflect a jury of his peers. The jury may or may not be impartial, it may or may not be pro-Trump or anti-Trump. It may be the beneficiary or a skilled and neutral judge or the victim of a political creature with nefarious intent. I have no idea one way or the other, but I’m long past the point of trusting everyone involved has justice at the forefront of their mind here. That’s the system and it’s used as such. Some will win in it, others will lose. Here’s a pro tip—change the scenario, change the players and people clamoring for Trumps head feel the same way I do here. Respectfully, on gag orders and such—the govt can make declarations all day long, leak details to willing reporters and not a tear is shed. Trump is fighting for his life and the notion he should meekly acquiesce is silly. That’s not to say most don’t, because after all the other side has bottomless pockets and endless resources. If the process is broken by a defendant being mean to the process, the system is broken. Besides, if he judges the relative value of fine v self-censoring as justified, he’s using the system to his benefit. Your characterization of DJT “preaching” reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of the multitude of reasons people may support him, and honestly I’m a bit surprised you as a woman of faith would choose that particular term. You don’t trust him. I can respect that, but I’m not sure what you expect me to do with that information. You have options regardless of who I support. Vote for Joe Biden. Vote for RFK jr. Write in for me. I support your right to do so. They all lie. This is true. I tend to disregard the notion of moral high ground just because someone likes their liar more than they like my liar. When you get done chuckin up lunch, come on back! Always a pleasure but your new nickname is Mup the Knife!
  4. He did pick a great fit for the system! Christian Benford, five rounds later 😆
  5. I live in a city that seems to have enacted an unofficial policy that driving with expired tags, or even no license plates at all, shouldn't be considered an offense. It's like a game now, counting the number of expired/no tags that I see on my daily commute. Yesterday: I followed a no-plates car on the interstate. Cop pulled up right behind me. I changed lanes so he could clearly see. And nothing happened. Just drove along his merry way. I'm sure there's some "racial bias" theory behind it, but whatever - I am the fool who continues to pay my registration fees and in turn pay the salaries of those cops who aren't pulling over those drivers ...
  6. Since you don't trust the police or the judicial system, this should be right up your alley!
  7. It's like you forgot the AstroTurf that was the summer of love. The constant narrative the system, cops, and courts were both racist and biased. Lmao. The same system in the same state doesn't do bail and doesn't charge. You and your msm logic.
  8. Its all about the offensive system they play in. They have good players and an excellent play caller in the leagues best system. They play inside most of the year. Stroud is going to have a monster year. I expect to lead the league in multiple categories. I can't remember the name of the player but there is a player who was with shanahan I think in Washington and he said in regards to the offense, if the qb knows even a little of what he is doing the offense is idiot proof. This is why guys like RGIII had great years in that system. Will they win their division, the afc or a super bowl....I have no idea but I am very confident they are going to throw the ball all over the building every week and rack up some incredible numbers. Yea cook is the lead guy. I was not that impressed his first year but last year he turned inside and ran the ball better. It felt like to me the rookie year he was running the sideline to much. He was way better last year. I am hoping this becomes running back by committee though and Davis is given a ton of carries, especially late in the game when the Bills have a lead. It's going to be fun to see how they go about it.
  9. But we should definitely be tough on crime, which means the police ought to arrest more people and funnel them through that same judicial system. Ladies and gentlemen, the New Thought Leader of the Alt Right.
  10. The thing the limousine liberals don't grasp. Is most people outside their little class, but the same party, have a distrust of the police and judicial system.
  11. MY LEGAL ADVICE TO PRESIDENT TRUMP'S ATTORNEYS: NEXT STEP U.S. SUPREME COURT In Bush v. Gore, the United States Supreme Court interceded in the Florida Supreme Court's deliberations because that Court was changing the Florida voting system on the fly, thereby violating the EQUAL PROTECTION rights of the Florida voters; that is, the state court was establishing new standards for resolving a presidential election. The Manhattan trial court has done worse. It has taken up a case in which there is exclusive FEDERAL JURISDICTION (involving the Federal Election Campaign Act) despite the fact that the federal agencies with authority over enforcing federal campaign laws, the Federal Election Commission and the Southern District of New York/U.S. attorney's office, declined to bring charges; where the judge is conflicted (his daughter is raising tens of millions of dollars on behalf of her Democrat Party clients); where collateral evidence has been abundant (and has no probative value); where the elements of the supposed federal offense were never articulated by the state or the Court; the imposition of a gag order on the defendant who is the future Republican nominee for president in the midst of the federal campaign for president; and so forth. Moreover, this state court could have easily avoided influencing and interfering with the federal presidential election merely by setting a later time for the case, if the court actually believed it somehow had merit. After all, the state waited years to bring its case. Therefore, there is not only a federal constitutional equal protection violation, in that this state trial court has purposefully interposed itself into the federal presidential election without authority or jurisdiction but has also violated the federal constitutionally protected due process rights of the future Republican nominee for president. Furthermore, the voters are to determine the federal election outcome without the interference of a state court attempting to influence the result. If President Trump is found guilty of any of the thirty-four charges, I would strongly encourage his attorneys to seek an emergency appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court based, at least in significant part, on Bush v. Gore. Bush v. Gore, 531 U.S. 98, 103 (2000
  12. Omg…..TBT….I remember this. Tough to find video from 2004 of what they said at the time. They’re either lost or erased. But they absolutely were convinced Bush rigged the computers. ”John Kerry won the election of 2004.” And so much more on stolen elections - as discussed here by Democrats - how are voting system is filled with fraud. Of course this was in 2016. Of course. “We have no verification for electronic votes!” Dam. Imagine telling them in 2016 that we’re going to make the potential for fraud 100000 times worse in 2020. After we shut down everything so Trump couldn’t hold rallies.
  13. I mean I have literally stated in every post now that the offense is more than just the receivers. But you are just manipulating information now, and you are know that. We threw for more yards in 2020 than 2023 because we didn't run the ball in 2020 nearly as much as 2023. So you are saying the top 5 guys averaged more because it was a Daboll pass first offense with a top heavy pass attack (especially to Diggs) in 2020 compared to a more balanced and spread the ball around attack and the utilization of a TE as the 2nd top targeted player in 2023. But you are just trying to isolate and cherry pick random stats that are about offensive philosophy between different OCs than overall offensive talent without any context to the data being applied. Daboll's style of offense was very different than the style of 2023. Maybe you like his style better, but that doesn't mean the talent level of the players was better overall as an offense. There are 5 guys that make up an OL...not 2 and PFF rating system is worthless. Besides, I don't care which year had the best individual...I am talking the best unit as a whole, which includes run blocking and pass blocking. And we all know PFF grades mean very little. Huh? What are you even talking about here? We are comparing one season to one season...not future projected seasons. So how does any of this matter in a one to one discussion? I have presented to you that I think the offense in 2023 was a better group as a whole than 2021...in which you then switched to 2020 when you saw the receivers were less impressive in 2021 than 2020...but now you keep responding with this one guy was better than this one guy when there are 11 guys on the field. Or this one stat without any context means this or that. So we will just have to agree to disagree on this one. Which is fine, it’s not like there is a huge discrepancy in talent one way or the other between 2020 and 2023 anyway, it’s more opinion than anything.
  14. I think you will see more of what we saw last year once Brady took over, with an uptick in target volume in which I expect his 45 targets will rise somewhere between 85-110 targets. I think Shakir will be either 2nd or 3rd in targets on the team this year just depending on how many targets end up with Keon and Kincaid. Personally, I think Kincaid is going to probably lead the team in targets. They are going to move Shakir around inside and out and put him positions to utilize his excellent YAC ability similar to how SF does with Deebo (minus all the rush carries). I think Allen and the staff have a lot trust in him, and he is the only WR with any experience with Allen giving him a leg up on trust and timing with Allen. However...as I say that, there is an interesting scenario developing here with the guys behind those 3 above, and that is all 3 of Samuel, Hollins and Claypool are making early big impressions on all the coaches and Allen. That 4th option in the passing game (that isn't a RB) typically doesn't put up a lot of production unless injuries have helped elevate someone's production like Davis in his first 2 seasons. 2023 - Harty - 15 rec, 150 yds 2022 - Shakir - 10 rec, 161 yds 2021 - Davis - 35 rec, 549 yds (but Davis was not your typical WR4, he was backing up Sanders who got hurt which is where Davis production really came in once he got starters targets with Sanders out and then more shared WR2 role with Sanders when he got back as the offense was playing better with Davis than Sanders). If you look at the person who was more the WR4 role it was McKenzie who put up 20 rec, 178 yds. 2020 - Davis - 35 rec, 599 yds (but again, Davis only got this much production because John Brown missed a lot of games, he wasn't getting this production as a WR4 which again was more McKenzie who put up 30 rec, 282 yds). Now we know Samuel is going to get a decent amount of targets too, especially after paying him and signing him 3 years, not to mention nothing but positive buzz and confidence in him has been coming out. But what happens if Hollins or especially Claypool continue to impress and make a case to be more involved in the offense? Where are all the targets going to come from? Bills had 545 total targets last year with Diggs taking up 160 of them. We know that Keon (who will start at the X) will get a decent amount of targets this year. It won't be Diggs like, but he should be somewhere between 75 and 100 targets himself. Kincaid saw 91 targets last year, safe to say he probably sees an increase, so I would guess 100-110 targets. Those 2 alone are probably close to or just over 200 targets, so lets just call it 200 targets. Shakir probably sees 85-100+ targets, so lets call that 90 targets. Last year, Cook got 54 of the 86 targets that went to RB's last year...I think with the addition of Davis and bringing Ty back, we might see that total target share jump to 100 for the RB room. So that would be 190 targets between Shakir and the RB's. This leaves us 155 targets to spread out to Samuel, and guys like Knox, Hollins, Claypool, and MVS of which at least 2 of those WR's are making this roster, possibly all 3. If you figure Samuel gets 75 of them, that leaves 80 targets for guys like Knox, Hollins, Claypool, and MVS. Which would make sense...unless someone like Claypool or Hollins impresses enough to be a bigger part of the offense. I mean Claypool has the talent to start here if he can get his head right. I love Shakir, and think he will be an excellent part of our offense this year. But, I do think Hollins and Claypool are wildcards where if one of them continues to impress could carve out a bigger role than what we have typically seen deeper on our WR depth chart in a true rotational spread the ball around system. And if one of them does, it will be interesting to see how the targets shift around amongst Keon, Kincaid, Shakir and the RB's to account for it. Funny, working on this post just made me amped to see this squad out there. We may not be "top heavy" with a proven elite WR at the moment, but we are very deep with playmakers and quality. I think Allen might have the most fun of his career this year throwing to this group.
  15. He is going to have a huge season. I really don't see anyway barring injury they are not a top 3 offense from a production standpoint. He might throw for like 5000 plus yards and lead the league. The system he plays in basically guarantees he will be extremely productive and limit turnovers. Only the really terrible qb's turn the ball over in that system.
  16. that numbering system of the 1 the 2 etc...means nothing. Those guys are all going to get the ball in houston plus schultz will get a bunch too. They are all going to get a role and be productive in that offense playing most of their games inside in domes. They play inside in 11 games, they play in only 1 potential bad weather game at KC in december. Stroud is going to throw it all over the place all year. Bobby Slowik is running Shanahan's system, the best offensive system in the league. They are going to use a bunch of different formations with those same guys and they are all going to make plays.
  17. The TD's don't bother me much because Josh Allen is a red zone threat and if he runs it in or throws it in, it's still a TD. And in general, those can be sneaks or scrambles and he may not be taking hits. What concerns me is: Passing numbers fell off a cliff when Brady took over and we "spread the ball around." Running Josh at a 153 carry pace which would be a career high in a season for CAM NEWTON. I just feel like we lost the plot a bit. I commend Brady for making some adjustments and involving Cook notably more. I won't hold too much of 23 against him personally, because I believe its very difficult to make any big changes to an offensive system mid-season. But if we are gonna talk Shakir's numbers post-Brady, then we should also talk Josh's. Because from a passing perspective, he was MUCH worse. Pre-Brady Josh had a 70% completion percentage, threw 19 TD's and 11 picks and had a 96 passer rating. Spreading it around and going more run heavy with Cook and Josh himself didn't really help Josh IMO.
  18. First, you said 2021...but now you are using 2020. So this is the wrong year Second, I disagree 2021 Diggs and 2023 Diggs were that much different in terms of his individual ability. The real difference was Daboll vs Dorsey/Brady combo. A passing system designed by Dorsey and Daboll is like comparing Olive Garden to a restaurant in Italy. Under Brady, Diggs usage was completely different, but people want to translate that to Diggs losing a step, which is a false leap in logic. Brady went away from chunk feeding Diggs and the deep ball, and instead spread the ball around more and then elected to run more than throw. Furthermore, the 2021 offense had its own lull under Daboll until he finally made some changes. They finally realized Sanders was declining and the offense was better with Davis on the field down the stretch. He discovered that Knox was actually a good redzone weapon and finally started using him as such. And he realized having no run game was a bad thing at half time of the Bucs loss where were getting blown out but nearly came back and won in the 2nd half after getting Devin involved. He would then use Devin a lot more and the down the stretch and the offense improved. Third, Kincaid is more of a receiver than he is a TE. Talent for talent, last years offense was the best group Allen has had to work with. Better OL, better running backs, better run game, better group of weapons between Diggs, Kincaid, Davis, and Shakir as the top 4 guys. People need to stop leaving Kincaid out of the receiving weapons group just because it doesn't say "WR" as his position when his primary role here is to catch passes. The offense is so much more than just "receivers"...and I know you know that.
  19. Every day we're standing In a time capsule Racing down a river from the past Every day we're standing In a wind tunnel Facing down the future coming fast It's just the age It's just a stage We disengage We turn the page
  20. Yeah, I get it. I don't think it's clear, at all, that if your #2 happens the Bills will go after a true #1. I don't think we really know that the Bills believe any longer that they need a true #1. And I think we'll find out, because I don't think Keon will emerge as a true #1. Next year at this time, we'll know if you're correct, and you may very well be. In 2024 the Bills will have a receiver who statistically is number one. They'll have a guy with 1300 yards and that guy will have the most targets. The announcers will say he emerged at the #1. But I don't think that'll make him a #1 receiver. For me, the question is whether the guy created those 1300 yards (that's what a true #1 does) or whether he was the guy in the system who got the most targets. Now, he has to be good to get the most targets, but that's not enough to be a true #1. I think a guy like St. Brown isn't a true #1 - he's great, but he needs the right system to create the opportunities he needs to be great.
  21. I hear you, and you may be right. I mean, it's definitely a reset, I agree with that, but not at all of the type or magnitude of 2018. Beane inherited a team that didn't look at all like he wanted it to look, and he had only two choices - gradual or drastic change. The change in the receiver room is different, I think. Unless Davis had a monster 2023, he was always going to be gone, because the Bills wouldn't pay him what he could get in the market. Diggs may have been a surprise to McBeane as the 2023 season unfolded. Who knows all that went on, but increasingly I find myself wondering whether, once Brady took over, he began installing the concept they seem to be going with now - call it receiver by committee and Diggs just didn't cooperate with it. Diggs would be perfect in that kind of scheme - he could be better than Beasley at being Beasley, he could go deep, he was good at crossers. He had all the tools. But I wonder whether he didn't cooperate because he understood it as a demotion - he would no longer be the true number one guy, and I think that was important to him. But I think that what you're saying is that wherever the Bills are going with the receiver room - receiver by committee of classic stud #1 guy with a supporting cast, 2024 is a transitional year, and the receiver room won't be complete for another year or two. In reality, however, I think receiver by committee is a system where the receiver room ALWAYS is in transition. Certainly that's what has happened in KC since they unloaded their top dog, and what's going on in San Francisco is at least curiously suggestive that the transition has begun there. Receiver by committee is essentially a system that requires the GM to have an interesting collection of talented guys at receiver every year, and it's always in flux. In that sense, I'd say 2024 is not a reset - it's the first iteration of what the future is going to look like. MVS is a receiver-by-committee receiver. Samuel is too. Shakir is. The 2024 receiver room may be the first committee - not the first step in a reset, not a transition, just the first committee. In 2025, Beane will keep some of them, replace some others, and season after season there will be a new committee.
  22. A good thread on the actual big lies Bringing receipts - there are countless more “…..Outlets like CNN (and TSW Democrat Correspondent BillStime) repeated the Fine People Hoax even though they knew it was a lie. Why? To inflame racial tensions. Democrats wanted the country to burn before the election so why is RFK Jr. pretending otherwise? …Day after day Biden told Black Americans that they are not safe in the streets because of white supremacy. While Trump was calling for the end of the violence, Democrat politicians were cheering the riots on. It was Biden who claimed that Antifa was an "idea" as they tore the country to pieces. And under his presidency, HATE CRIMES HAVE SKYROCKETED UNDER BIDEN. They have reached an all-time high. In other words, there was much less racial tension under Trump than under the current President. Why doesn't RFK Jr. talk about that?”
  23. Defense - More reps for top pass rushers instead of a rotation and more blitzes from Milano and Bernard. Our safeties are less experienced in this system and if we don't get pressure, our secondary will get carved up. Offense - More running, more play action, more 2 TE sets, more jump balls to the perimeter, more physical
  24. You aren't touching QB or TE obviously. With the drafting of Davis I don't think you're touching RB either. I'm sure any coach would tell you they want more depth on the o-line and d-line but I think you're pretty solid there too especially with the drafting of Carter and VPG and the various March signings. It's McD so you can never rule out a LB signing especially if Milano has any sort of health concerns. But I more so see them going after a special teams type guy who is a generally meaningless salary hit if they're going to look at a LB. Edwards, Bishop, Rapp seem to be the safeties which is good enough especially if they let Bishop play from day 1. Plus Hyde is always possible. I know safety is important in McD's system but not sure they make a move until they know for sure Hyde's status. You can always use pass rushing depth but it seems like they're really betting on Von being significantly better. I do hope Solomon gets a roster spot. He can be a situational pass rusher. So for me the two spots that could use attention are WR and CB. WR - I really like Shakir and Samuel because you can move them around and scheme them. I really like both of them but neither are good enough that you feel good about it if they're lining up against someone like Sauce Gardner every snap. But since you can move them around and Brady actually seems to be creative, I think they're a solid 1/2. Then you have Coleman who I think will have some blow up games and some invisible games just like Gabe Davis. But that trio is pretty good. Plus I think Kincaid will lead the team in targets and catches assuming he's healthy all year. So yeah you could definitely use more depth but you aren't signing another possession WR and it seems like they have already added some deep threat options. So I wouldn't touch the free agent options. If a trade is possible for an Aiyuk type player, of course I take a look. CB - Douglas and Benford on the outside. Taron on the inside. That's pretty good although you always worry about Taron's concussions. Douglas can play while banged up but he is aging a bit too. Elam is the wild card here. I love that they haven't given up on him yet. But there just isn't much out there after him. I admittedly don't know much about the available free agent CB's or even the trade market but this is probably my biggest concern heading into next season.
  25. Maybe you missed it, but a Chiefs rookie WR just had 8 felonies, six for collision involving bodily injury, one of collision involving serious bodily injury, and one of aggravated assault charged against him for running an exotic car race on a busy highway, setting the all time record for most felony charges by an active NFL player.
