  1. It was between him and the Texas Safety Brandon Jones. The return game tilted the selection.
  2. With the 130th pick in the 2020 draft. The New Orleans Saints select Lynn Bowden, WR, Kentucky. He will provide in the return game while he learns the WR pro game. Sean does like gadget players (see Taysom Hill). After our top 2 WRs, our room needs an upgrade, so we view this as sneaky need. @Just Joshin' is on the clock. @Virgil
  3. My only question is how could this noodle armed QB forecast anything JA can/can't do? But thanks for the vote of confidence. JA doesn't need it.
  4. Nice work as usual. Just can't see how the Jests end up with that freak. Can't see Chargers passing on who ever the Phish don't select. I also Think Phish trade up to 3 to get the QB they love and Lions still get their man. Haven't seen any TB mocks a RB (I think that fits).
  5. We were 13-3 last year. This team does not have many holes/needs, which is a good thing as we only have 5 picks this year. We love our 1st round pick and we feel this is good value here at the end of the 3rd round. The Saints select AJ Dillion, RB, Boston College. RB is not a huge need this year, but he can learn the pro game for a year while we figure out what to do with Kamara. Plus, we have an out with Murray after 2020 because he is on the wrong side of 30. It was rumored that we would have taken Fromm here. Plus, we were not in love with the CB, WR, or S value here. So @bkep32 is now on the clock @Virgil
  6. For those you that are looking to move up some spots. Pick 88 is up for sale as the Saints only have 4 picks left and we'd like to acquire more.
  7. Agreed. However with such a deep WR draft maybe they find something a little later. RB would have made sense here as well. Just noted the "Desperately wanting" love that ditty! Although it's no "In the Blood"
  8. This is good value. Some reports have him in the bottom of the 1st. Plus his 1st name is awesome. No one is better than Ezra! @Virgil Any chance you make an early call on round 3? I make have missed it if you did.
  9. Thanks. It really was a no brainer. Would have preferred a trade out and grab a 2nd or 3rd but that seems like a stretch this late and everyone else seems to be selling as well.
  10. Without a 2nd round pick we would have moved from this spot. However, with so many interesting prospects on the board, especially both of our top LBs and a couple of offensive choices. The New Orleans Saints run to the virtual podium and: the New Orleans Saints select Patrick Queen, LB, LSU. This is where position of need and BPA meets. As a 3 down LB, Patrick never has to come off the field. Our LB room has a group that didn’t finish the season as well a being on 1 year deals. He is an immediate upgrade and day 1 starter. We couldn't be happier. We were hoping for Queen or Murray and to see them both there makes it an interesting choice where both can be followed to see if we made the correct choice. @bkep32 is on the clock @Virgil
  11. So close was really hoping to get my Saintspick/trade in tonight....
  12. What would you be willing to spend? They could generate quite a bit and donate it.
  13. This mock is a buyers market with too many sellers. I wonder if that will hold for the real draft.
  14. Plus a little early to start the WR run.
  15. Maybe it has something to do with the time that the last one took? With the window cut in 1/2 to 2 hours it should run much smoother.
  16. San Francisco has 2 ones and then a 5th. If they don't trade down at 13, 31 could be in play. It might work with 54, 86 and a 2nd next year. I wouldn't do it if I was Beane.
  17. Virgil, I'd love to try this. My 5: Saints, Raiders, Titans, Chiefs, Jets. Would be open to just about any team though if needed. Thanks.
  18. Do you take Lewis from Bama instead or pass on both until 86?
  19. I personally can't get enough of them, I was just pointing out the reason some people don't.
  20. How do we feel about TE at 54. I can't see BPA or need there.
  21. I thought we had a shot at Oliver. I don't think many people had Metcalf sliding that far. I get it, I'd love to see him at 54 let alone 86....Some one will slide there's always someone.
  22. This is why some people dislike mock drafts. This just won't happen.
  23. This one is solid as well
  24. I may have had a scotch or 3 but I thought the thread was "love" songs, the topic didn't make much sense. Now I get it
