  1. Have you seen the numbers? We are facing a rookie QB who hasn't looked very good and is likely a fringe backup in this league. Let's stop trying to pretend he might be like Brock Purdy. He isn't...hasn't shown anything to suggest that in any of the games he has played so far. He has started 3 games and thrown 1 TD and 1 INT in it. Basically this game should be over by halftime if the offense plays remotely competent and doesn't turn the ball over.
  2. Based on what? His previous results? Zach Wilson threw for barely over 150 yards. My God...it is so sad to see how people have zero perspective of what "normal" looks like in the NFL because we have been so spoiled for so long on defense here, especially pass defense...the Bills are exactly 15th in pass defense this year in terms of yards given up. slightly above league average. They give up about 14 more yards per game than the Chargers who are ranked 7th. Point is, there isn't much difference that separates teams in the top 10 and the Bills. Bills are 4th or 5th lowest in terms of QB Rating against. Stop acting like they are giving up 500 yards a game every game.
  3. Are you f**king serious? Firstly, they don't exist, even in the regular season. But the playoffs? C'mon man...you can't be serious.
  4. I expect them to go 3 and out 2 or 3 straight times.
  5. That wasn't a rookie QB in that game, that was veteran Mark Brunell who had a very good season that year and Natrone Means "Business" really hurt us. Please don't even try and give me some nonsense about Skylar Thompson coming in here with his 67 yards per game average and 27 QB Rating in the several games he has played this year and beating the Bills. It isn't happening unless the Bills literally allow 2-3 defensive/ST TD's to the Fins.
  6. I can understand why they did it...their defense was worst in the NFL all last year and was on a historically bad pace early this year before getting Smith. He has really been the glue that has helped their defense become exceptional over the past few months. They have been among the best defenses in the NFL over that timeframe across the board in virtually every category. Next year could be back to approaching the old Baltimore defensive teams with Kyle Hamilton playing the Ed Reed role and Roquan Smith playing the Ray Lewis role. https://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2023/1/1/23532406/baltimores-defense-has-been-dominant-since-acquiring-roquan-smith-can-they-keep-it-up-ravens
  7. They very well could. The Ravens were resting a bunch of players last week including starting their 3rd string QB and the Bengals did what the Bengals normally do...get up big but then never pull away and let the other team hang around and catch up. If Watkins wouldn't have fumbled late after his long catch they would have had the ball deep in Cincy territory with some time left. This is the same team that should have probably lost to the Pats if not for a BS call where Stevenson fumbled after 3 seconds of not going forward and they never blew the whistle and he fumbled inside the Bengal 10. They were up 22-0 and it was 22-18 at that point. Cincy is not as good as everyone thinks. They SHOULD be better than they are on offense, but they simply aren't. Also, I am not sure if we should be wanting to play the Ravens...their defense has been turned up several notches since acquiring Roquan Smith, has been playing exceptional and Kyle Hamilton is starting to live up to what people thought he would become as well. This team is going to be a problem next year in the AFC again.
  8. So we get a first round bye after all 😂 What if the Bills end up winning the Super Bowl but our opponents starting QB goes down in their matchup that week and we end up playing the backup every game?
  9. Like in National Treasure when he gets caught stealing the declaration of independence by the FBI. "Someone has to go to jail"
  10. It probably means there is real concern with him ever setting foot on an NFL field again.
  11. What? Literally 100 people in his twitter post said that immediately to the point Micah Hyde was trending on Twitter. Also saw a few guessing Crowder as well so he is definitely not being serious.
  12. Mike LaFleur out with the Jets...kinda surprising... His brother was just fired with the Jets.
  13. Croom wasn't f**king around like so many thought he was when I posted the tease about Hyde!
  14. Apparently it's "inevitable" eventually...
  15. No it is making it impossible for him to play. He has been ruled out.
  16. 13 days and counting since the last time the sun has shown in Buffalo... Not quite. It isn't completely frozen over and you can get surprisingly heavy lake effect snows even with just very small amounts of open water. Actually based on the latest data, it's well over 90% still open water...probably close to 95%, so it could very well not freeze completely this year.
  17. The crazy thing is we see those kind of throws on a regular basis from Allen to the point where we don't even blink when it happens...it's become so routine now that we don't always appreciate the jaw dropping amazingness of his throws at times. You watch the throw and how Allen throws it pretty much flat footed while being hit and you are like...are you serious? Did he just really throw a 60+ yard ball from the opposite hash(tho to be fair when he let it go his bounces took him to around the middle of the hashes), flatfooted while pressure was bearing down on him and just drop it into a bucket? I think the long one Davis dropped was equally amazing in that he literally threw it off one leg while jumping in the air.
  18. On the first day of playoffs, Josh Allen gave to me... One squuuuiiiissshhhhheeeed fish! Two Diggs TDs Three Frenchman sacks and a Biiiiiiilllls Vic-tooooory!
  19. Maybe the ass kicking we gave them was still fresh in their minds and it stung?
  20. It's better than I thought tho...overall Bills D is 6th in total yards, 5th in rushing yards, 15th in passing yards, 4th in QB rating against and they have moved all the way up to 7th on 3rd down defense. Obviously 2nd in scoring D. To put it in perspective they only give up 14 yards a game more than the 7th rated pass D so it's not like they are far away from being top 10(5 yards from Houston at 10).
