Beasley claims Dak is "best leader he ever played with by far"...
Big Turk replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wheat anything is never an option for me, unless it's Einkorn/Virgin wheat, the kind that has been grown for 12,000 years...the type of wheat used now is the cause of chronic low grade inflammation in the vast majority of the population and pretty much everyone will be better off once they ditch the wheat in their diet. -
This is awesome...the Bills and McD LOVE playing the underdog/get no respect role and this gives them all they need to play it...

Beasley claims Dak is "best leader he ever played with by far"...
Big Turk replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think that's it. He has regularly said he thinks Allen is the most talented QB he has ever played with and the sky is the limit for him, even after he left and before he came back last year. He never said Allen is a bad leader, he simply said Dak is the best leader...I am just interested in trying to find out the areas he thinks Allen needs to get better in to be considered in that category. -
Which begs the question...what does he think Allen needs to do to reach that level or where is Allen lacking in comparison? I don't think this is a dig at Allen at all, Beasley has said many times he thinks Allen can be the best QB in the league and has immense talent and ability. I'm super curious as to what he thinks Allen needs to get better at in this department because all you have heard is how amazing Allen is as a leader since pretty much day 1...

"Whaaaaattttt?!?! You went over to Auntie's for some barbeque and didn't bring me a plate??"

The first one on 3rd down was simply a bad ball by Allen that wasn't catchable. He was open. Targets mean nothing if the ball thrown isn't catchable

I don't think he is out of line. In the playoffs losses the Bills have not made a concerted enough effort to get him involved, IMO. If you are going down, go down with your best players not getting it done...don't go down cause you decided to get cute on too many 3rd downs and not try and get the ball to Diggs, coverage be damned at times. Sometimes you just have to say, "My guy is better than yours and I don't care if he is covered or not, I am still throwing it to him and I trust him to make the play." Especially in the big situations.

That was mostly a made up media construct.

Doesn't say what the reason was but here we go again...

The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?

But that doesn't mean what he is upset about isn't legitimately something he should be upset about either. -
The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?

All we can do is speculate since we don't really have information on what is actually happening and the conversations between the two players. Perhaps Allen said something about not studying film one night to do stuff with his girl, etc... Who knows? But clearly something is irking Diggs and it makes more sense that it's something regarding Allen not being as prepared as he should be at all times and relying on his ability too much rather than his film studying, etc... Perhaps Diggs feels that's why he has so many sloppy turnovers last year and dumb plays. -
The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?

There is a difference between having fiery juice on gameday and preparing as much as possible leading up to the game and watching film, etc... -
Diggs wants to win badly, but the way he channels this isn't always productive. The focus should be on getting him to channel that in a more productive way, not telling him he should care less...he wants to be great, and wants to win...I would much rather have that problem than players who are more interested in playing with remote controlled cars in the locker room.

The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?
Big Turk replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
With Allen and Diggs being as close as they were/are, it would almost feel like a betrayal if Allen were to tell him he wants to win but won't focus like that and wants to do other stuff too. Like Diggs felt they were the same spirit competitively but then realized they actually aren't. -
What if the issue is Diggs is pushing Josh to focus singularly and obsessively on football during the year like he does and ignore everything else to become as great as he can be but Allen is refusing to do it and Diggs takes that as "he doesn't want it bad enough" and is turning on him because of it? With them being as close as they were/are Diggs might take that as a slap in the face and feel let down by him, as if he is saying one thing but his actions say another.

The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?

If Diggs is upset that Allen is not focused enough during the season to play consistently well and thinks some of the turnovers and struggles were due to this, perhaps he is upset that Allen dumped his long time GF and said he has never been more focused on football then seemingly goes out and starts dating a Hollywood actress which Diggs then takes as him saying stuff just to say it but not following thru with his actions and now he will once again be distracted during the season with this new woman. Seems there is some disconnect between Allen and Diggs and Diggs thinking Allen needs to do more of "something" to improve performance...whether that's film study, taking things more seriously, whatever... Perhaps his "If that's the lie you have to tell to sleep better then tell it Big Dawg" is related to Allen saying one thing but then apparently doing the opposite? Diggs seems to have a Brady like laser focus in terms of improving and playing and obsessing about being the best during the season and wants the same from Allen and Allen might not be willing to go to that level and Diggs is taking that as a sign he isn't really as serious about being the best as he claims to be and is driving a wedge between them, like Diggs is looking at him and saying "You said you want to be the best and want to win a SB but yet you aren't willing to lock in and focus on football only during the season...how serious are you?"
